I have never been confused with this, but I was prepared prior to getting the R1T from driving Tesla's.
Maybe the OP is like me with the mouse on a computer. For some reason, I have to reverse the behavior of the scroll on the mouse. The default behavior is backward in my mind...but clearly...
Ah ok, yeah, at first I wanted to cut my plastic trim pieces....but as I took them off to install, there was so much dust/dirt inside, it proved to me that these really don't do much other than aesthetics - dirt still gets in. So I ended up just completely removing them and not cutting them...
The install is really easy by yourself. It took me maybe an hour just because I had to finish it in a very tight space in garage.
For the OP, what's up with the tape around the mounting points? Is that how they completed it? I hope not.
But I do love the running boards, it makes it a lot...
I wouldn't say design flaw in the cross bars but just a design flaw in that fin. I don't know how they didn't realize the heights overlap. When I put my surfboards on, it hits the fin, so I had to add padding on the bars to raise the boards higher. I guess they assumed the fin is ok because...
I was doing this after parking manually, because I was hoping it would avoid door dings.... I installed running boards so I thought with the truck at the highest settings, the running boards will catch any careless doors flung open...then I still got a door ding anyway. lol
Someone over in Tesla forum commented about the oddness of a back window that's covered/blocked when the tonneau cover is closed...that never crossed my mind before somehow, but how odd indeed. I usually have the camera on for rear visibility, but not having any visibility out the back window...
Usually around here in San Diego area, owners wave back or give thumbs up. However, I did have a few who just ignored me. Even stopped at a light side by side, this one guy just looked over down at my truck but refused to look over at me to make eye contact. lol...oh well
I could never consider the MX because of the falcon doors. To me, a larger SUV needs to have the ability to have racks on top (just my own need). A hitch mount for bikes is not what I need. I wish they would just go back to regular doors on the MX as it would be much more useful to me.
I’m switching to 20” wheels so I’m going to sell these since I just don’t have room for them in my garage. See the measurement pictured for each wheel/tire.
the wheel is in perfect condition and no scratches. The tire service kit was never used. Center cap not included.
I can understand how some will be bummed it's not included in the dual motor, but I don't understand the outright anger and feeling that Rivian wronged them (except for that screenshot saying 'everyone' gets it). We should continue to expect some software feature differences between the two. I...
Ah ok, I was wondering if that was the case. It would have been nice if we have the ability to choose these data widgets instead of them being set…unless I’m also dumb and missing where you can do this too
