It's normal to see some loss between the charger and your car. You're paying for electrical losses in the cabling as well. That being said, 3 kw seems a bit high for such a short charge.
1.9-2 mi/kWh in All-Purpose mode, mostly around town driving.
2.2-2.3 mi/kWh in Conserve, only used for road trips where I'll need to fast charge.

Feb '24 purchaser here. For a minute I was kicking myself for not waiting for a 2025, and then I saw that the similarly equipped tri-motor is 12k more than what I paid for my Gen 1 Quad. I'll keep what I have.
