  1. Rivian Service policy - no alternative transportation unless vehicle kept for 48 hrs

My 2026 came from the factory with that sensor not adhered properly. They replaced it while I waited at the service center.
  2. 30 amp campground charging question

You'll only get level 1 charging, as campground 30 amp service is single phase - 120 volts.
  3. Auto wipers not working. Any tips?

They don't work on our new 2026 R1S. Going in fro service tomorrow. But I can clearly see that the sensor became detached from the windshield so it should be an easy fix.
  4. Liquid spill inside trunk disables R1S (wire harness damaged)

You don't know what the liquid was???? Surely you can figure that out. It might be an important part of the problem. If it was water or if it was bleach (hydrochloric acid) that would a significant difference.
  5. 2025.22 Update - Official Release Notes (Now With Google Maps Navigation)

And the Google images aren't nearly as good as the previous ones. Google matches images from different seasons and lighting. It's weird when one side of my road is summer and the other winter.
  6. 2025.22 Update - Official Release Notes (Now With Google Maps Navigation)

yes it uses cameras. I know because kids spray painted a 30mph sign to make it read 80mph near me. The Riv says 80mph every time.
  7. 2025.22 Update - Official Release Notes (Now With Google Maps Navigation)

The speed limit icon on the driver's screen defaults to 55mph, it's only correct when the cameras read an actual sign. This makes it useless. And on the same screen, it no longer shows the name of the road you are on, just the name of the town. Again, pretty useless.

  9. Looks like 2025.14.0 Update is out to beta testers (2025.14.1 now)

My Ford shows me I have a text and then reads it to me. That's the way I like it.
  10. This can’t be normal… Loud breaking free sound after truck sits stationary for a while… VIDEO

In a recent service call my tech said that I needed to hit the brakes once in a while- relying on regen allows oxidation on the rotors. He the oxidation is common because of high regen use. He didn't specifically address that noise (didn't ask about it), but that makes sense to me.
  11. What does this icon indicate?

It's not there all the time, just sometimes.
  12. I guess I need to start carrying my NACS adapter

Why wouldn't you carry all the adapters you have in the vehicle?????
  13. Outside Speaker location?

A googled Juvenile, so now I know he's a rapper with a song about backing up. Like Riviot said, know your audience.
  14. SiriusXM

I was able to log in too. I didn't hit the subscribe button and just started listening. It showed my favorites, etc. I do have an active subscription on my other vehicle that lets me stream. I'm hoping this won't change after the trial period.
  15. So do we still have to wave at other Rivians on the road or is that no longer a thing?

We have never had a Rivian wave back. When we are towing our Airstream (with an ICE), almost all Airstreams wave back.
  16. Cheap EVs From Failed Startup Are Piling Up in Arizona Scrapyard

They may be there for recycling. This facility is also in Gilbert
