  1. Why is the Rivian planner preferring Tesla SC over RAN chargers?

Not to speak poorly of Rivian, but I think the answer is in your question...
  2. Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 275/50/22 115 review

This is good to hear... I'm swapping out to the Michelins next month. They look really good on there and from the sounds of it, are a very capable tire.
  3. Apple Watch As A Key works great on Gen 1 with WAAK app

This looks really interesting and was really easy to set up. Hopefully this isn't some kind of back door into all of my accounts and will steal all of my data.
  4. Immediately Disengaging Cruise Control when Driver+ is Unavailable is Unacceptable

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I typically have no problem with Highway Assist and ACC, but every now and then, there's some kind of system fault and it just dumps everything all at once. Even a couple more seconds of ACC would make all the difference. Give me a second to react to having...
  5. Immediately Disengaging Cruise Control when Driver+ is Unavailable is Unacceptable

It's less about when I want to take control, and more about when the truck randomly decides that Highway Assist is no longer available, and it automatically disengages everything all at once.
  6. Immediately Disengaging Cruise Control when Driver+ is Unavailable is Unacceptable

Most of the time I get the warning, but at least twice on this last road trip, the time between the alert and the system disengaging was less than a second, and at least once, I was changing lanes in front of someone who was tailgating me, so I immediately started slowing down unintentionally...
  7. Immediately Disengaging Cruise Control when Driver+ is Unavailable is Unacceptable

Yes, disengaging by pulling the wheel does not disengage ACC. It's only if you disengage it from the lever or if the system decides that Highway Assist is no longer available and shuts down both at once.
  8. Immediately Disengaging Cruise Control when Driver+ is Unavailable is Unacceptable

I am not the kind of person to complain, and I am generally happy with my R1T and all of the updates that have been released since my purchase back in January 2023. But after having done several road trips in the past 18 months, my biggest complaint is that under certain conditions, when Driver+...
  9. Anyone want to make 50$. Rent me their supercharger adapter?

Also, if it's of any help, I have made the trip from DFW to Amarillo several times in the past year and a half without NACS charging, so depending on where you are going, it is possible without the Tesla Superchargers.
  10. Anyone want to make 50$. Rent me their supercharger adapter?

I'm not sure if we have any available at the moment, but the Lone Star Rivian Club (which as of this week covers all of Texas including DFW) has been helping members find and borrow adapters. If you aren't a member already, you might check out the Club and any of it's multiple social media...
  11. Show off your Level 2 Home Charger installs here

We installed the ChargePoint Home Flex in the garage, and while we were at it, had an extra 240v outlet installed in the driveway as a courtesy charger location for when we have visitors who might need a little charge. I use the 3D printed charger hook instead of the built in one because we...
  12. How to link your Rivian's live data to ABRP 5.0

The only thing under my "...more" link is "Reverse Trip" or "Round Trip."
  13. How to link your Rivian's live data to ABRP 5.0

That's a cool addition... but I also noticed that the option to add an amenity to your stop appears to be gone. Hopefully that's a glitch with the update because I really liked being able to find places to eat near the chargers, and let ABRP extend the charge estimate based on a meal stop.
  14. Motorcycle Transport setup with CCRSport Hybrid Rack (Installation Process)

The service center advised that I remove it before my tonneau was replaced because they are going to pull out every panel in the bed in order to replace/install the cover. So probably best to wait until it's all done before installing it.
  15. Looking for Reliable Charging in Muncie, IN

    Thanks! Appreciate the info!
  16. Looking for Reliable Charging in Muncie, IN

No... what gave you that idea?
  17. Looking for Reliable Charging in Muncie, IN

Oh, I am fully aware of the capabilities of the 120v outlet. I charged my R1T exclusively on a 120v for the first three months that we owned it.
  18. Looking for Reliable Charging in Muncie, IN

I am staying with family, but they live in an older house, their breaker box is full, and they don't have the time or finances to do any upgrades at this time. We considered running a cable from their dryer to the driveway, but when they measured it out, it was over 50' and I only ever carry 50'...
  19. Random Rivian Photos of the Day - Post Yours! 📸

Stopped by the new Austin Flagship Space and grabbed a quick photo from outside the gate.
  20. Looking for Reliable Charging in Muncie, IN

I appreciate the sarcasm, but a real answer would have been much more informative.
