For light offroading, I think the 21's would be just fine. For context, here's the tire sidewall height for all 3 wheel options:
50R22 tires on 22" wheels: 5.41" (all season)
55R21 tires on 21" wheels: 5.95" (all season)
60R20 tires on 20" wheels: 6.5"
65R20 tires on 20" wheels: 7.04" (all...
I wonder if the new Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 might work. It comes in 275/60R20 (33" diameter).

Really? Rivian is not charging you $200 more. They’re giving you a $200 discount. Check out the 48A Wallbox Pulsar charger. MSRP $700. That’s what you’re getting from Rivian for $500.
My guess is that the R1S with the large 135 kWh battery pack will have an official range of 325 miles or so. For the max pack, if they can only fit 11 battery modules (instead of 12 in the R1T), that should give you a range of approx. 395 miles.
I was originally interested in the max pack...
If you do the math, you get the following diameters:
275/65R20 - 34.07"
275/55R21 - 32.91"
275/50R22 - 32.83"
You may able to fit 275/60R20 tires onto the 20" wheels. That would yield a diameter of 32.99".
We've had our ClipperCreek LCS-25 20A charger for nearly 10 years and it's been very reliable. We used it to charge a Nissan Leaf, a Rav4 EV, and a Pacifica Hybrid. ClipperCreek has been around since the early Tesla days and sells both plug-in and hardwired chargers depending on your needs. For...
Agreed. The 21" wheels will likely give you the best mileage so it's unfortunate that they have the worst design of the 3.
Couldn't help notice the ClipperCreek charger in the background (I have one at home). It looks to be a plug-in model, possibly the HCS-50.
I emailed them today and got the following reply:
"The longer-range SUV will not be announced until after launch. This is due to the feedback we received from our community that a longer-range SUV that couldn’t accommodate three rows of seating just wouldn’t cut it. Due to this, we have...
