I have been assigned a VIN 64xx. I am concerned that someone mentioned on a post that kinks were worked out in the 7xxx range. Should I be concerned about 64xx being assigned and is it fair to ask the guide the production date for my vehicle and the reason for the older VIN? Appreciate the guidance.

In all fairness I did ask about the gap and was told all these are issues are corrected before delivery. This was in the back so not yet ready for delivery. I am super impressed with the Rivian customer service specialists, they allowed me a lot of time to look at the trucks.

A couple of pics… looks pastel greenish blue in the sun looks gray in the shade… I prefer the shade look but like the color overall. This is the config I have on order :)

Adam - it looks like you have the 21 roads - how do you like them. They look good from the pics - I had initially though the 20 all terrain - but the 21's look good.

it would not surprise me if they end up ditching the quad option for the R1S… a bit like Tesla eliminated the plaid plus. I have an order for both R1S and the T. If it were not for the extra seat row, I much prefer the truck.

I disagree with the above. Having the color and wheels configurable without incurring market price adjustment should be possible - especially given most have not seen this vehicle in person. If you are going to make a policy adjustment i.e. changes in configuration will lock you into market...

I spoke with CS and stated that I did not cancel, however had not finalized on color and wheel selection for my R1S.. he said any changes now would make price go up to new pricing.. I explained the website shows you can make configuration changes final at a later time. Not sure if CS had...
