I did a search and noticed there are >300 R1T's available for immediate purchase in the bay area zip codes.
I asked colleagues and friends in the Bay area, who had voiced real interest in purchasing/leasing a R1T, if they were still interested? Polling of n=12, of which all were in...
Maybe simply taking it down.
Too many people have totally missed what the MSN writer was presenting, in my opinion.
My point was this is bad press.
I don’t know how to take it down? Do you?
Thanks for the clarification
I guess I am reading the terms very differently.
The statement says “must” total 95,800 with details of the specific equipment.
What is also not clear to me, is based on the rivian Leasing statement, the vehicle must be a quad and have a minimum price of 95,800>
From the Rivian website:
"Very well qualified lessees who take delivery on or before 1/8/2024 can lease a new Rivian R1T Adventure Package for 36 months with...
Can someone in the forum explain to me why a R1T dual motor listed at $86,600 has a lease of $842 monthly (for 3 years) and a Quad listed for $87,000 has a lease cost of $792 per month?
Thank you
Thank you for the great summary on the lease.
I have been considering a 3 year lease.
Based upon the additional information you provided, if I did my math correctly, the 3 year lease is about 41-43% of a new R1T purchase.
thank you

When we first put in the Electrical charger for the our Nissan leaf, we installed a 14/50 outlet with max circuit breaker of 40 amps/ 8/3.
The Rivian charger seems to only use a ground and two hots.
My...
But , I do have a solution for all of you and a locksmith should only charged $10.
So, take your original key, get copies made and put the original away in a safe place.
To toll keeper: I will not flame you, as you refer to it. Yes many of your comments are valid. Okay except for the colors…my wife calls them Mary Kay Cosmetics colors.?
My worry is will Rivian be here in 5 years.
The vehicle is very, very expensive.
As stated in another post… This AVT is...
I lost one of the Rivian keys for my Rivian rack and tried unsuccessfully to obtain another one from Rivian.
And yes, I did also try Yakima.
Rivian said: ”you have to buy new cores and keys”.
Ended up going to a locksmith who made a duplicate.
The blank that does work ( non yakima) is code ILCO...
Real Wood expands and contracts. Since it is not a crack and simply a seam, so to speak then …hopefully, the finish Rivian used will prevent further wood movement in hot and cold environment of the R1T.
Wood putty works wonders if it really bothers you.
