Right so the question to ask Rivian is are the Bronze wheels only different in color compared to our 22 dark wheels?

I'll ask and confirm if the 22" tires are different on Gen 1 vs Gen 2. If they are and if they fit (which they should) our Gen 1s, i'd still prefer them but can skip the wheels in that case

And the Rivian repI I spoke with suggests that I should expect better range on my Gen 1 R1S, don't know how much to trust them :)

And thus wanted to see if it truly does add about 40 miles more, then adding them to our Gen 1 R1S will have the same effect? Today my Gen 1 quad is rated for 320 miles in conserve mode and with these wheels i could potentially get upto 360? :)

Probaly its the weight since the staggered setup wheel/tire set is rated at 338 miles whereas the bronze setup is rated for 370+.

What made me think on the range uptick was the fact that Rivian itself is projecting higher range numbers for the new quad motors with these wheel sets. The bronze wheel sets do not actually have staggered setup and I wonder if they are truly making a difference in range?

Hi All, Has anyone with R1S Launch Edition Quad Motor spec replaced their wheels with 22” Sport Burnished Bronze? If yes have ya'll noticed any difference in range? I am currently talking to Rivian Service Reps and they are finding out if I can replace the 22" Sport Dark wheels with Bronze...

Yes, we did the yearly thing on our Model Y and our Rivian will be due next summer. No doubt I been happy with them

I have an open ticket and an appointment for the very same problem with SFO service center in July. After reading this, it doesn't give me confidence they will do anything about it. I noticed this in the bay area weather during later winter/early spring when the weather wasn't hot at all.
