I think I was an outlier. I got the truck less than a week later on the 28th. 57xx vin. I think I just got really lucky on the R1T lottery at the time.
I had my truck in for service for very similar issues. It turns out there was an issue with the wiring harness that needed to be repaired. I'd create a ticket and push the service center to take a good look at the wiring harness.
Hunt was a success! Not a huge mule buck like I wanted but ended up coming across a nice little spike who I couldn’t pass up. He fit just fine in the back haha.
Took my truck hunting in Northern Arizona and was pleasantly surprised at how well the 21” road tires performed.
A big snow storm rolled in while I was out on one of the days and the truck did great.
Glad it's going well for others. I'm still in a rental.
R1T Delivery - End of May
Temp tags expired - 8/25
In a rental - 9/20
Still driving that rental - 10/21
I'm trying to keep a good attitude and accept that there's some inefficiencies in a new company and their processes. But I'm...
Glad it finally made it in time! I'm still waiting on the impossible Nevada registration struggle bus... Had the truck since the end of May - guess we will see if I can top your 5 months!
Man I just bought one on the gear shop like a fool! And they've been overdue on my registration and plates for over a month!
Glad you had a good customer service experience though!
I'm in a rental for the second day of what I'm being told will be about a month because of mistakes made with the original paperwork. I hope Rivian is charging RegUSA...
And for anyone in a similar situation or soon to be: Rivian will not cover the cost of gas; only the rental is covered. Kind...
Hey man - I'm in Vegas as well. I think there is some problem with the way Rivian is attempting the registration process. I just got off the phone with my guide and they are booking me a rental for the next 30 days until October, when they expect the registration to go through after submitting...
My temp tags expired on 8/25 and my guide is now working to get me a rental. Sounds like they won’t get the registration and plates completed until October after a problem with the initial process.
Not really looking forward to driving a rental for a month but I guess stuff happens sometimes…
I noticed that with mine too. I drive 70 miles daily on highway and the truck definitely doesn’t lower itself like it used to.
I was curious what the efficiency gains really are in terms of aerodynamics between low/lowest speeds at about 70 MPH. Maybe they decided the auto leveling wasn’t as...
