Happens to me about once a month and I have to reboot the car twice and the charger once(fix recommended by SC).

I’d be interested in hearing his reasons.

After last update I now have to frequently use the app to unlock the vehicle where before it would do so automatically. I have a iPhone 15pro: very annoying. Already tried soft and hard reset and rebooting phone.

Mine doesn’t brake for shadows but it does lose the lane markings, especially under bridges, from time to time. Mostly I get phantom braking when there is a corner on the road and a vehicle in the adjacent lane.

I wish my Rivian could do even a fraction of what is offered in FSD. This dumb version looks like it is getting close to true autonomous driving from what I can see on YouTube videos. Doubting they’ll have it ready as promised in 2025, but 2026 seems like it’s a real possibility.

Any center console organizers that hold the NACS adapter? It’s a convenient place to have it.

I have 31k on mine and they’re going strong. I live in Sacramento with lots of triple digit days and have nothing like that.

I use my Dakine ski bag. Keeps most of the garbage in the bag and also reduces the number of projectiles in case of an emergency stop or accident.

I have a Costco one that I put in the second row, behind the arm rest. Fits perfectly, even when full. It opens from the top so all I have to do is reach back and pull a bottle out without taking my eyes off the road. Obviously not a solution if someone is sitting in the middle.

Too much trouble to use the rivian one. I bought a battery powered one on Amazon for $23 and a second party presta adapter and it works quite well. I charge it like once every 2 months. No cords to unwind or wrap up. Definitely the way to go.

Thanks, I can live with it falling off the mats. Wondering if superglue would enhance the durability on that side of things since I don’t care about leaving residue off the seats.

Does the velcro leave any adhesive marks on the carpeting. I’ve been afraid to install mine.

I have a third party double MagSafe charger. Easy and satisfying to install. If u have an iPhone I can’t see any factory solution being better. My friends android phone also works but without the magnet alignment.

I have similar issues w Amazon music since purchasing the vehicle. Only fix has been turning off dynamic sound as mentioned above. Resetting the infotainment system does not work for me.

Code worked for me on Amazon. Looking forward to making good use of this space. I’ve never used the speaker yet.

The Rivian experience is not terrible, but it will never be as good as Google or Apple. Their resources are simply orders of magnitude higher. Every year there are major improvements to phone operating systems. The same cannot be said for car systems. There is also the issue that one’s phone...

I would prefer it on the bigger screen. The driver one is a bit small for this purpose.

Mine is already super pitted after only a year of use. Definitely much more so than in my other cars after similar use. I have one star from a rock strike that I’m hoping doesn’t propagate.
