I used to take the passenger seat out/in of my Tacoma or Miata multiple times a week to be able to bring the Great Dane to doggy day care.
Just pull the seat out if you need to get under there. Shouldn't be more than 4 bolts and some connectors....
It's still driveable for now, no turtle icon or anything. I towed a big trailer home from an hour away last night with no issue.
If I start driving it in and it becomes an issue, they said they'd get it towed. But no reason to have them spend that $$ driving all the way out here when I'm...
I'm having this exact issue. Bummer it needs to go into a SC for a fix, my front end is LOW and I have a 2 hour drive to get it there.
I'm also getting a bunch of other warning lights. Auto high beams not operational, sensors not available, adaptive cruise not available, etc.
HA = Home Assistant, there is a thread on this forum about getting it working with the Rivian API to log/track your data. That part is easy, getting to ABRP is the hard part (for me).
I did not have the newest ABRP enabled update on the truck for this trip. It would of been interesting to test out the live data aspect of it as well, but I still haven't had any luck getting my data from HA to ABRP.
I tow to motorcycle race tracks a lot during the spring/summer/fall. The longest tow I make is to New York Safety Track in Jefferson NY near Oneonta NY from North Central MA, right on the NH border. This time, I had HA running capturing data from my trip.
Shows me going up over the Green...
So when I renewed my ABRP subscription last week, it went to Rivian?
Cool.
NOW GET LIVE DATA WORKING WITH ABRP, cause I'm getting nowhere getting it working via HomeAssistant and I'm doing a heavy tow for 200+ miles tomorrow morning.
Change the server it's using. Anytime you import a flow, it brings in an extra server that isn't actually there.
Click on each node (blue box) starting at the first one with the error, then use the drop down on "Server" to select the other server (both are probably named Home Assistant...
Got my API key finally. No more error messages in the debug logs in NodeRed.
So what's the tell that this is working/active in ABRP?
My truck isn't plugged in/charging right now, sitting there with 61% range. When I try to plan a new trip, it still uses the manual slider for starting battery...
I've got NodeRed running, and added the credentials add on. Just need that stupid API key. I emailed them again, so hopefully I get something soon.
My big "stretch my range and charge a few times" towing trip is next weekend and I hope I can get this working by then.
Anyone willing to write a step by step how-to for this, from the point of having HA working with the Rivian API data already being available, to the point where ABRP has the data?
Basically, I have HA working. I can see all my Rivian data in the HA dashboard, but I never got a response from the...
Yup, that's basically why I pre-ordered my Rivian as well.
Also also why I don't hesitate to do a full hard reset on my truck every now and again when something starts acting up, lol.
Mine does something similar at highway speeds at neutral throttle application on long gentle downhills. Basically when very little power is being needed to maintain speed.
