I used Hyperdip.in satin color for my emblems on my El Cap paint and decided to try it on the chrome. The cost for spray and masking materials came out to about $30.
I also ceramic coated the car along with the trim. Looks very good in my opinion.

Update. I just got my Rivian back yesterday with the liftgate issue and I am posting their invoice response.
They also replaced the liftgate trim from the original soft rubber to a harder plastic version that fits into the hinge channels.
"Concern:- Customer states that they are still having...
Thanks for the update. I have another appointment tomorrow morning I will report back to see if they were able to improve the performance of the liftgate.
Just to clarify, you tested it on a decline before leaving the service center? That's great news if they fixed it! I have an appointment next week and I will show them this reference. Thanks for keeping us updated ?
They tried to return it to me as well, fixed, but I used their driveway entrance and backed it up onto the slope and lo and behold they saw it and took it back in for service.
Tried to fix it, but they couldn't after an hour, so they said to submit more data.
Yes. The same thing happens to me in the video pop's open about 2 in then closes. You should submit a request to get this fixed. The adjusted mine, but it did not fix it. Please read original post for technicians comments
After reading some of these posts, it might be an issue with a certain batch number coming off the assembly line, as some owners don't seem to have this problem. For those that do I would request a service appointment so that they can gather data and find out which production vehicles were affected?
Yes. That's why I'm asking ALL owners check to see at what decline angle this happens at, including level.
There might be a software update that commands more "force" to the actuators?
This data needs to be sent to Rivian.
They don't have data except for level.
My guess is they will try and fix it by adjusting the actuators and aligning the liftgate.
Have them put it on a decline or test it yourself, before you leave the service center.
Imagine this scenario. You are sleeping in the back, camping, and you use your phone to open the liftgate. Lo and behold it partially opens and then closes on you. Now you have to climb out of the side doors to go to the back to open it manually.
Hope it's not raining! It should not function...
