I would love to install solar panels myself, but I have a clay tile roof which looks and sounds like a HUGE PITA. Unless somebody on the forum has a clever easy solution to tackle clay tiles :)

I vaguely remember a tint guy telling me that using ceramic tint 'keeps the heat trapped in the window' and minimizes radiating the heat into the cabin and that's why the window may feel hot. Not really sure how true that is though.

I believe XPEL officially calls it "satin". Technically matte is even more dulled out than what XPEL Stealth is offering. The XPEL Stealth PPF has a bit of sheen to it, which makes it "satin" rather than matte; semantics....

Would you happen to know if the shops are machine pre-cutting the PPF for Rivian panels? or were the installers cutting the PPF from full sheets as they install.

oh interesting. Anyone with the wobble, have you guys tried changing driving modes and see if the wobble changes? Wondering if stiffer suspension driving modes is translating road imperfections into the steering wheel...

As long as its not a death wobble (per the video below) I wouldn't say its terribly urgent to address. Likely a wheel balance issue, which is easily fixed. Bad alignment itself, is rarely the reason for steering wheel wobble. Bad alignment could lead to feathered tire wear, which would then...

Just thinking out loud, but would it make sense to send these kinds of emails / guide assignments / and deliveries based on where you live and not necessarily by reservation date. Since Rivian don't really have an ad agency of their own (yet), maybe they are trying to spread out the deliveries...

Probably the universal German torque spec of "Guten Tight" will be enough. I was in the automotive field for a good number of years and don't know any mechanic that torque underbody panel screws, just get them "good and tight."
