Nice - that is pretty amazing. My OEM ATs lasted until about 23k miles. Could have probably gotten to high 20s, but the noise was killing me. Replaced with Nokian Outpost nAT - LOVE them. Quiet, ride great, look awesome. Only drawback so far is the mi/kWh have dropped from 2.14 to 1.94. But...
Yeah - rule number one in earnings calls is give only what you must and make as few of commitments as possible. I get what you’re hoping for, but there is no benefit (to them) of doing that. Let’s hope they hit their commitment - their track record hasn’t been stellar, but I’m optimistic.

That's exactly why they're stating they'll have a gross profit in Q4 and have stated that for several quarters now. All the reasons you listed - they know the cost to build one, they know where they are headed, they can estimate their mix. They've been very open and have continually reiterated...
Wasn't to me directly, but my mom (who is in her 70s) had one of her friends tell her they heard I would have to replace the batteries each time I drove it. At a cost of $30k.

I’ve played around a bit. 58 cold and 61-62 warm seem to be the sweet spot. I’ve chalk tested and 60 warm was perfect for that, but that’s about 56 cold and I know it seems crazy to say 2psi matters (although from my autocross days I can say it really does matter), but they felt a little...
We put the nAT 275/65R20 on our R1S after the Pirellis were done. 500 miles in and couldn’t be happier. Quiet, aggressive, overall excellent tire. Only drawback is exactly what you’ve said - we dropped from 2.14 mi/kWh to 1.94. Less than 10%. IMHO, an excellent trade off for a far more...
I’m 500 miles in to my nATs. Love how quiet they are and the way they look. Drive very nice at 59psi cold. The only drawback, which isn’t surprising for an LT tire, is I’ve gone from about 2.14 mi/kWh to 1.94 mi/kWh. Totally acceptable trade off IMHO.

I’ve owned eight sets of all-terrains across multiple cars. From Duratracs to K02s to Scorpions to Toyos. In general, they have all droned to varying degrees as they’ve worn. The Scorpions seemed the worst (likely due to how quiet the R1S is outside of tire noise). Toyos have been the best...
What pressure are you running the ATs? I was at 57 on the nATs, but bumped it to 60 for some better efficiency. Trying to settle on the right number.

They actually aren’t bad. I weighed them before I had them installed - 56.2lbs for a LT (18/32” of tread, 126/123). The stock Pirelli are 48lbs. I’m sure I’ll take a hit in efficiency, but as they wear down, I’m confident it will get significantly better (just like the Pirellis).

Yes - they’re 3-peak rated. Nokian is also the company that invented the winter tire, so I expect they’ll be fantastic in the snow.
And the Wildpeaks are a great tire, but pretty heavy. We have the Toyo Open Country AT3 on my son’s Wrangler and my wife’s Land Rover. They’re similar to the...
