  1. What the heck is going on with the stock price?!

Rivian should set aside a portion of money to cover sold vehicles through their warranty period since they're a few quarters away from running out of cash. I know they won't but it would be nice to avoid a Fisker nightmare x10.
  2. RJ listen to what Jason Cammisa has to say about the 2nd gen R1S / R1T / R3

I think most of the CarPlay/Android Auto haters are performing mental gymnastics to rationalize Rivian's consumer unfriendly decision. Funny to see.
  3. Apple & Rivian Reportedly in Partnership Talks

Wonder how many of the CarPlay haters are clamoring for an Apple bailout
  4. New York WTB 22" Sport Wheels

    How much?
  5. Why is RIVN market cap ($12 bln) only equal to cash on hand??

Stock could be even lower after the EV9 comes out.
  6. Launch mode not as good after update

Glad to see this is being addressed. All the paranoid people were right!
  7. Launch mode not as good after update

    Just in case. https://archive.is/kuu0m
  8. Not looking too good for continued operations beyond 2025

You're talking about $1 million in shares against a market cap of 12 billion. So 0.0083%, let's round up to .01% for such a strong showing of confidence from management. Rivian has average daily volume of 28 million shares traded, 78k shares would be .27% of daily trading volume. LOL
  9. Not looking too good for continued operations beyond 2025

The car could do zero to 60 in 2 seconds, have 500 miles of range, seat 9 and it would mean nothing unless Rivian can sell it profitably. Currently market doubts their ability to do so. The Tesla comparisons are pointless because Tesla benefited from a low interest rate regime, which we are...
  10. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

I’m not wedded to CarPlay, I also use an Android phone and use android auto, it’s just those two solutions have all the features I want in a vehicle infotainment system. If Rivian offered something that let me stream my music library in higher fidelity, dictate texts, take calls from other...
  11. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

“While we were talking, a GM spokesperson broke in to note that Chevy Blazer EV reservations remain steady since the news was announced that GM was phasing out CarPlay and Android Auto. He wouldn’t comment on how steady, except to note that they added “a couple thousand” new reservations.“ Got...
  12. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

If any Rivian employees are reading this, I would pay 4 figures to have CarPlay enabled. Could help extend the company’s runway ?
  13. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

Thanks, I didn’t see a quote about customer interest and preorders tied to the removal of CarPlay? Can you post it?
  14. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

Go ahead and see how much traction you get. There’s a lot of demand for CarPlay in Rivian.
  15. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

Bob there are Rivian owners who want CarPlay after using Rivian’s infotainment, myself included. For those that do not want CarPlay, they can continue to use Rivian’s in house solution unabated. For everyone else, we’d like a feature offered in 90% of new vehicles sold.
  16. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

There you go, no need for GPS, just use signs. Rivian should advertise this feature and call it the Rivian Signage Network.
  17. When will Rivian admit that avoiding AA/Carplay is not about providing "better" UX?

The only thing I see when I look up GM and CarPlay are articles about customer complaints. Perhaps you’ve been reading something else. Can you share?
