Yep. Even Tesla has to take that attitude many quarters.
"This comes on the heels of Tesla reporting its first drop in annual sales for 2024, and the biggest drop in quarterly global sales in history during the first quarter. That resulted in net income falling 71% in the quarter. Tesla had to...
I agree with most of what you are saying but maybe I am one of those middle ground owners where even with the repair challenges my R1T had faced, Rivian service experience has been better than my wife's Ford. Ford doesn't have loaner vehicles for warranty repair work so the three weeks her...
Your are lucky with that Ford. Ford has had the most recalls total of any manufacturer in the last 3 years. I had my Expedition sit at the dealer for 20 days to fix the dreaded EcoBoost cam phaser issue that I told them on day 1 was the issue. There was little to no communication throughout the...
I have that exact same tire for off road and a set of the 21" road tires which I trade out for road trips. From my experience over 35,000 miles, you are losing around 20% range and efficiency by driving on an aggressive off road tire. Your cost would probably be lower than the 20 MPG SUV if you...
I confirmed this today also. The release notes say "on a highway". See below.
New Driver Assistance Features: Smart Turn Signals and Go Chime
◦ The turn signals now automatically turn off after you perform a manual lane change on a highway.
It works even when Highway Assist is off but it only seems to work on highways where HA is available. I used it this week with a trailer when I had dumb cruise control only and it worked fine on the mainlanes but did not on the feeder(access) road along side the highway.
I checked it on the highway this week both with and without trailer. If you quickly change multiple lanes the blinker doesn't turn off until you center in the last lane. If you slowly change lanes it will turn off at the first lane that you change into. Overall I really like this feature as it...
I am not sure as I just started using it today. It could be that if you are changing lanes quick enough, the blinker does not turn off. I only noticed it turn off in the first lane once this morning but I was not rapidly changing lanes.
Edited for clarity.
Drove the "Wagon" this morning and didn't have anything weird come up. Navigation worked ✓, Alexa commands good✓, ACC/ ADAS ✓ and I love the turn signal automatically shutting off after centering in the lane. It's only annoying if you are trying to change multiple lanes at a time on the highway...
Understood but in the situation where a door is damaged but still functioning and they know the part is going to take months to get, they can make sure they can reassemble the door and get the vehicle on the road for the interim. It wasn't clear from the original post that the whole body panel...
Out of curiosity, was the RIS drivable before the tear down? I am thinking others could learn from your misfortune and not allow the removal of a part that renders the car inoperable until the replacement parts are in stock.
