I'm about 98% sure it was the camp speaker. I haven't heard the sound since. I did end up taking out the camp speaker and charging it up fully, and then putting it back in so we will see...I also spoke to a Rivian Support tech who said that yes the sound would play through the Rivian speakers...

Just happened to me yesterday as well. Not the full red screen with the 'hood is open' message but a black/white box saying 'hood latch not working - service vehicle soon' and a small red icon with a picture of the hood open and an exclamation point. I can still drive the vehicle but if I try...

I am on iPhone and use phone as key. I suppose it *might* be something the phone was playing but I've never heard that sound outside of the Rivian and I haven't heard any other sounds except the one sound I assume is the phone's bluetooth connecting (I haven't been able to capture that one yet).

Over the past few days I have had this sound inside my R1T play intermittently. If I go on a 15 minute drive, it will generally play once when I'm first starting out and again about halfway through. It's something coming through the sound system and is a bit ominous - like something is warning...

3/19 order date, RB R1S with 22”dark and OC. Original delivery window May/June ‘22. No update.

I ended up using Rhino Films & Detailing for PPF, Tint, and ceramic since they were close to me. I had never used them before but they did a good job - I'm satisfied with their work. It took longer than I'd hoped (6 out of the 12 days I had the Rivian it was at their shop!) but it had to do...

Mine was problem free too. I was also a bit tentative before the delivery because of some of the negative experiences others had posted about - the cancellations and delays. However, my delivery was right on time and my guide even showed up too (I invited him to come and he did!). I was stuck...

The Rivian is my first EV...love OPD! I rarely if ever use the brake now. The only thing tricky for me is backing out of the driveway...still a little herky-jerky.
