I do too. If I choose, it will probably be an autism charity. Those children need a voice. We take for granted our ability to express our opinions. My son has a tough time and he's light on the spectrum.
I'm shocked it made to 8 pages too and so should EV Base. With regards to your comments, I don't understand. The parties already acknowledged mutual mistakes. What needs to happen for you to donate to charity?
No, when you put R1S / R1T, a consumer would believe it can fit either or. That's what I believe on my end. You have a different way of thinking and that's okay too.
I think we all agree on the misrepresentation. It's okay if some don't think this is a big deal. They are not the folks I'm trying to help. Again, if one member can learn from my mistake, it's worth the $210 EV Base wants to desperately keep.
I respectfully disagree. It wasn't obvious to me. It defaulted to a 2025 R1S and the only option I assumed I had was with or without letters. The invoice also led be to believe I ordered the correct part. I relied on their representation to my detriment.
Rob, he already admitted it was misleading. He even stated the invoice was an error. He was highlighting the fact that if you click the pictures, a different price pops up. However, I hope he can acknowledge that most people won't be clicking if the default is on the item they want and the...
Thank you for acknowledging that. Again, the parties have already accepted their mutual mistakes. The issue is not honoring the subsequent refund agreement.
No dude, I ordered from them because they offered a solution to not cut the panels. You can choose to deny the website is misleading. You can also choose to ignore the invoice reflecting the armor panels being included. You are not my target audience. However, I am forced to respond to your...
I agree, it's unfortunate the merchant doesn't care. If I can help save one person some headaches, I've accomplished what I set out to do. I don't need the $210. They can purloin it. How much will they lose by not accepting accountability? I suspect it's more than $210. This thread has been seen...
Okay, i'll bite. What about reneging on the original settlement agreement? Am I reading that wrong too?
Why are you ignoring the the fact that the parties have already acknowledged mutual mistakes and have already agreed to a resolution. The issue is the subsequent breach.
Nah, I just realized you're probably a EVbase troll. An unbiased person would acknowledge the vendor's error. They also wouldn't disregard the breach in our agreement. Hey, you do you man.
Here you go man. Now stop saying I got what I paid for. This is the actual invoice that was emailed.
Edit: A member told me the PDF I attached expose some personal info. I took a screen shot to prevent it from showing.
My situation is a little different. I didn't see any other prices on their checkout page on my phone. Plus, my invoice reflects the items they said were included. Even if it's for a different item at a different price, you would expect the invoice to accurately reflect what you're buying.
You
I appreciate the support, but the customer is not always right. However, once the parties come to a resolution, they should honor their agreement. Thank you though.
Steven, no need to be condescending. I don't care if you or the few other dudes on here don't think this is a big deal. I put the community on notice of their business practices. Even if this saves one person some headache, i've accomplished my goal. Btw, the parties both acknowledged mistakes...
