I havenāt noticed any difference in handling. Yes, the nATs are 115H. The Discount Tire by my house said they wouldnāt install them for me because they were only 115 (from what Iāve heard, Discount Tire is very hit and miss in that regard- depends on the store), but a local tire shop had no...
I really like the Nokians so far, and yes these are the updated OutPost nATs, not the older OutPost ATs. I got a really good deal on them on Simpletire around Black Friday, so decided the pull the trigger. I don't really "need" ATs 95% of the time, so we'll see.
Pros - I think the tires look...
I got my new AW10 wheels installed yesterday, and they look great! I picked them up on Wednesday (Iām local), and everything was smooth and easy.
I got tires (Nokian Outpost nATās) and the sensors separately online, and the local tire shop got āem ready no problem. All you do for the new...
I just pre-ordered with the promo. @Atomic Wheels I'm in the Dallas area, so let me know if you need anyone else to test these out for a bit once they are ready!
I think this is both a hardware and software issue. The hardware is noisy for many folks when it really gets going. The recent update seems to increase the occurrence of the compressor running at full tilt, which just highlights the hardware issue.
I do also think this is a more obvious issue...
I've had mine for weeks now in Dallas. I was a day 1 pre-order, though. They are shipping, or at least the R1T running boards only are - just have to be patient. They are totally worth the wait!
*sigh*
I think everyone just has to look deep within themselves and figure out if a brand new vehicle from a brand new manufacturer is the right fit for them. Based on your comments, I fear this may not have been a fit for you. Everyone knew (or should have known) that Rivian is still figuring...
Well, my running boards are installed. They look great! No different than the other pics any of you all have seen, so I'll spare you the time for that.
Ease of installation? I'd say medium.
The first hiccup I had was that the hole saw I purchased on Amazon had a longer bit that extended out...
@EV Sportline @BrookeRRiv Do y'all have a link to the templates that I can print for the 4 inch holes? I can't seem to find them anywhere, and they don't seem to be included with my running board hardware.
Possibly - but is it that big of a problem given that it isn't even necessary to keep the plastic panels on at all, and no one can see the holes except from the underside?
Yes, I'm very excited! Definitely not criticizing - I think this is 100% the right priority, so props to y'all for not rushing it out. I just know some have been interested to hear about others on this forum receiving shipping labels, so just wanted to back y'all up and say that it IS happening!
It does seem the Panhandle is getting the short end of the stick. Seems like they could at least get a mobile service tech out there, and then just let anyone know that is going to take a delivery what the situation is before they agree to it.
