I expect a decent amount of the dust enters through larger gaps around the tailgate. Has anybody experimented with adding some foam weather stripping around the tailgate areas to prevent dust accumulation in the bed? Likely don't want to seal it tight so as to prevent drainage but maybe can at...
Have any United Power (northern Colorado) customers figured out the optimal rate structure to opt into for at home charging to optimize charging cost vs time of day usage? I'm not sure how to model the flat rate vs time of day vs peak usage options.
I got plates today, just over 3 weeks from delivery day which is pretty impressive turn around. I am curious about this included letter. Am I required to display this "EV Decal" it mentions? If not, I don't really want to make a special trip to the DMV if I don't have to.
Had a good time with the R1T today, took a drive from Broomfield starting with 94% SOC (topped up at the Flatirons Electrify America DC FC) then drove to Boulder up Sunshine Canyon through Gold Hill to hit the North side of Switzerland Trail (24 miles), off roading the whole route past the Sugar...
Hi Colorado Rivian friends, I am trying to figure out all the incentives available to me for going electric, including federal and state incentives for the vehicle purchase as well as local/utility incentives for EV charger and wiring upgrades for at home charging installation.
I noticed a few...
That's the width of the board which tucks under the seat back some, so the clearance between the seat back and folded up seat bottom maybe be a little less above platform surface (assuming you are trying to fit a crate), but with sloping seat still depends on exact geometry.
I don't have full dimensions, but the width is 18.5 inches and the length with the short seat down is 30-32" depending on how much overhang you want by the door.
It's a 60/40 split, but the "40" side has the sub-woofer underneath so it is flat (no underseat cubby) which limits the length the platform can be and still store as one piece.
I saw a video on YouTube of a couple reviewing their R1T a few months ago, and they had created a handy folding platform for the dog to ride comfortably in the back seat without being on the seats or needing a seat cover. I figured I could make something similar for our 8 month old rescue.
It...
I wish this backup camera (& front camera for that matter) had a horizontal line or hash showing where on the ground is clear of the most protruding body panel. It would be helpful to more easily gage clearance to obstacles, or for knowing when you are fully into a parking space or clear of a...
Went to the service center this morning, they did a hard SW reset and the warning went away initially but then returned. They did an inspection and found that a sensor connector at the "comfort valve at tone of the suspension dampers" wasn't fully seated and locked so it was getting an...
I also did the hard reset in a parking lot, but it came back as soon as I started driving again. Maybe I will take it out again to ight after it has had a chance to cool down for a bit to see if it comes back immediately or takes some time. Will be interesting to see the outcome. Thanks for...
Got a suspension issue warning while driving in moderate highway traffic at about 50-60 MPH. Still feels like it's driving fine so I am hoping it's a sensor issue of some sort. ? A little sad that I have an issue after 2 days with the vehicle but Rivian service is already on it.
Has anybody...
If any Colorado folks are looking for financing options, here is a selection of representative rates from some banks and credit unions I considered, compared to Rivian. In order to keep the process moving forward, I have decided to go with Rivian initially and then refinance with a credit union...
