I thought i’d be clever and make the Rivian hotspot SSID the same as my home one. I figured then all my existing devices would just work. I also allowed my R1S to join the home SSID. The idea was when Home it would use the home wifi, when on the road (and no wifi) the hotspot would turn on...

You must have watched every R1T video to down to that one, what are the chances! Yes, found it, there were enough hints for me to know what to look for.

He might be more excited than you will be! I image this happens more often than we think, but to video it and post is pretty amatuer hour. Nice green though!

The one net new thing on my call, asked if i wanted them to install the front plate holder.

Nothing new or different, except she went with 6-8 weeks for delivery. Oh and that we were one of just a couple R1S calls she has made.

Got the email from guide to setup a call, tomorrow afternoon.

Same, no follow up email or call, but the under the ? guide info showed up. My guide looks to be Costa Mesa based.
