Just tap on the temp setting on the lower left of the screen and bring up the hvac menu. tap on the steering wheel in the UI to only turn heat on for it without any adjustments happening to the heated seats.
Seems like this could be yet another troll job or perhaps there could be some operator error as you learn your new vehicle.
I have 2 Gen 2 R1s's and any time I have experienced any issues that you list they were always due to my initial lack of reading the owners manual.
If you read it, you...
You might have given them the idea to swap it. Kudos to you for figuring it out. I can't imagine that mine is the only one that had the polarity flip with the update but just in case make sure you check it before taking everything apart again.
Prior to the update the sub on my Gen2 R1S w/ premium audio was out of phase. This was verified by both audio analyzing software and by removing the speaker grill and seeing that the 10" speaker pushed in with signal instead of pushing outward. AFTER the update the polarity of the sub has...
Since the latest update (2025.46) it appears that the polarity has changed on 3 speakers in my R1s Gen 2 with premium audio. The sub is now in phase and the speaker is pushing instead of pulling. The speaker furthest to the right on the dash is now out of phase which now matches the speaker...
I have 2 gen 2 R1S's and have none of the issues that you describe. The ride in both of mine is impeccable. AC is always smooth and top notch. Third row seats slide very easily to allow accomodation into and out of the 2nd and 3rd rows. It kind of makes me wonder if you even have an R1S...
It happens at all levels of accelleration every time on every surface that I've tried it on which amounts to asphalt on 2 highways, concrete on another highway and several parking lots although I haven't tried a full launch or it would likely go into the ditch.
They said they put new tires on the front at the first try at the alignment but they sure don't look like new tires. maybe their "new tires" could be the issue. Although it's only when accelerating. Once up to speed the car goes straight.
Picked up a 2026 R1s in September. The alignment was off initially with both the vehicle and steering wheel going to the left. Took it in to the service center who then aligned the vehicle. While the R1s was there they had a fire at the SC so while I was relieved that the truck wasn't...
I have seen many posts stating that the subwoofer for the premium audio in the gen 2 is a 6 x 9 speaker. I agree that the speaker grill for the sub is that size but if you pop the grill off and take a look there is a 10" driver in there for the sub.
A sound wave is not a linear line. Think of it like kind of like a wave in water. There is the lowest point of the wave and there is the crest of the wave. You can find diagrams online to visualize this in a sound wave. As the sound wave travels it alternates between positive ( the crest of...
My gen 2 R1s also has the sub and front door speakers wired out of phase but also has the speaker above the driver door and the furthest speaker to the left in the dash out of phase. It’s possible that the sub and front door speakers were wired that way intentionally in an attempt to time align...
I'm 15,000 mile in on my 2025 R1S and still absolutely love it. So much so that I picked up a 2026 R1S a couple of weeks ago. So, to answer your question, yes I would buy it again. In fact, I did.
