So I reached out to my guide today. She finally responded a few hours later to let me know the replacement truck (YT) doesn't have the off road protection package........which I ordered.
They had assigned me that VIN over a week ago and they are just telling me two days before delivery...
Well generally I lean more towards not worrying about it. I just figured I am posting on a public forum and that tends to draw particular attention. But like you and someone else mentioned, all of that info is usually out in the open for all to see.

Seriously though, I figured I put out too much information to keep it hidden for long.
Risk to the owner’s identity
The VIN of any car is also associated with the owner of that car. So when an owner is putting up the VIN publicly, for a larger audience, he is also putting his security at stake. Anyone willing to find out information such as the name, address, nationality, age...
Well, I hope he is bilingual because I speak very little Spanish or Portuguese which is what the guy in the video was speaking.
Honestly, it didn't appear he was being a jerk with it and perhaps he was supposed to take it to the office space he drove to. Not sure it's one of those situations...
It looks like a delivery driver (he isn't speaking english but looks to be in the US) by a vehicle transport trailer.
He does a walk around and then jumps inside, then drives it to some office building nearby. He seems to be giddy and is very positive about it.
Our R1T is scheduled to be delivered this coming Wednesday, so to pass the time today I decide to watch new Rivian content online.
As I am surfing through I come across a video of a guy showing off a not yet delivered R1T. He starts showing the exterior and then jumps in the truck and shows the...
When I queried about the damage to my vehicle I kept getting slightly varying answers as to what exactly was damaged and exactly what repairs were done.
When they finally let me know repairs were finished they alerted me that there was a tiny barely noticeable scratch on the drivers door. I was...
Sure seems like a lot of damage going on.
My order was cancelled the morning of my delivery date due to damage during transit. Then the repair was delayed because the part ordered to replace the damage pieced was damaged in transit.
Either that is Rivian's go to line if things are way behind or...
Delivery scheduled for Wednesday the 11th at 2pm. They tried for Monday the 9th but of course it was the one day I had to be somewhere.
Cautiously optimistic, asked if they would stuff it in a giant nerf football for transit. Will post pictures of all the good and bad once I take possession.
I hope so.
If it were me, I would make sure to check it out in bright daylight and from every angle, maybe even put it under some florescent lights in the garage if possible.
Truly hope they got it right for you.
Last Friday our guide said Rivian was switching out the first truck with a new vehicle (even gave me a new VIN#) and after PDI they would schedule delivery.
Last communication from guide was Monday morning. Radio silence since.
I will reach out tomorrow to see what's going on. It being the end...
