OP? Did you watch the video? They both suffered (R1T and CT) because of the weather. They didn't expect them to come close to an EPA comparison in those conditions. So they pivoted and they instead turned the video into a CT and R1T range comparison (to each other) in the adverse conditions...
I didn't. You clearly blew past my point about the original point, saying it's a pointless endeavor. They really cannot be compared. Unless you are sticking to things like charging curves, touchscreen.
Why on earth would you compare anything except technology between these two cars? They aren't even in the same category.

Take Model Y to MOAB. Off-Road with it. Hit some good rock climbs.
Do some overlanding and roof top tent camping
Tow a 8k trailer for 300 miles

I took advantage of this. Leased (going to buy after 3 months) $7500, ICE: $3000, Referral Code $750, Possible State incentive of $5000. Going to be close to the 80k limit.
That was a recall. (eventually). I had a 2005 manual so it didn't affect me. You shouldn't be paying for that transmission cooler line failure. Back in the day it was 8k repair.
Thanks This is exactly what I thought would happen, but needed some more clarification.
Thanks
Looking forward to showing off my R1s Dual Max in December.
Question:
What is everyone's experience with exploiting the $7500 Federal Tax loophole? Just curious, after fees etc buying out the lease did you wind up ahead 4-5k ish? (Loophole: You claim the $7500 on lease, then you can buy the car pay fees and come out a bit ahead).
My Thinking:(could...
