Buy a Generac (or other home backup generator), it's proven, reliable and available now.
I wouldn't V2H with my Gen1 R1T (or Telas) until it was out and proven for years. Will all the quality issues including battery both primary and 12V wouldn't trust it personally.
Timing is probably coming...
Oh the idiocy of people running out of gas on the side of the road filling up with a jerry can. Now you can risk it in an EV can this site get any more stupid? Another on ignore.
I've been shopping around for the best gas prices in my area since I learned how to drive. I just do the same with The Rivian and Tesla. This is a thread for people who go to the first charging station or first gas station they see.....i.e People that don't care about price, everyone else will...
So I have to update my note as my drop-off this morning was a no-go inconvenient mess. While dropping off, rep indicated last second (and I just spoke to them yesterday to confirm what I needed to do at drop-off) I need to drive a tech around to hear the read gear grinding noise. When I told...
Not sure where you live in NJ, but proximity to a service center is an absolute must to own a Rivian and I do a Gen 1 R1T.
My SC is within 2 miles of work and I'm dropping it off tomorrow to fix what will probably be a half shaft or motor issue in the rear when clutch engage or disengages...
.96G (2.86 0-60) is pretty significant from an everyday life perspective. My G1 T is technically a lot slower but still makes me a bit off when I launch it.
A G force of 0.1 can cause motion sickness at sea.
A G force of 0.15 is the force caused by a passenger elevator.
Riding your bike down...
I almost threw up reading your post and the multiple times you accepted delivery with obvious flaws once even after the buyback. I would have left Rivian long ago or any brand with that kind of experience. Who has time for all that?
I love my T but I'd be out immediately if only a fraction of...
They don't know plain and simple. They won't give a date as it will be made up and there is a good chance they''ll miss it. If you want an actual date in response to your question I would suggest go buy a Tesla......
Some home charging companies now offer NACS cord retrofits (i.e. Chargepoint Flex). So with my Rivian and Tesla one of the vehicles will need an adapter either way. But in a couple years adding a Scout or R2 I can easily buy a new charger cord ($199) and be in business at home if NACS moves...
Listen to the last earnings call where he explained humans have been driving around with two eyes and a neural net which is what we're building. Then said others are doing it wrong. Welcome to a company with a 13 year head start on delivering EV's and data collection. Doesn't make Tesla...
The fob is still my main key and always will be in my Rivian and my Telsa.
After 40 years mobile phones continue to be an unreliable technology partner when needed most. Spotty apps, Dropped calls, dead battery, service dark spots, etc.
Love my iPhone, but won't rely on it as my primary...
Yes that was the made up part I didn't want to mention. From the picture I see potential in Q425 deliveries also made up and of course the car has posi-traction.
More nonsense "Zelda knows better than Rivian" or "Rivian should do X" other posts. Keep em coming.
