Unless Rivian snuck a unreported update in I'm finally happy with my "phone as a key" All I have to do is wake my phone and the truck unlocks in just a second or two. Plus no more unlocking every time I'm near the truck (only happens occasionally now) I'm not sure if it was the new phone or...
Wow, no way was I seeing the mi/kw in the lightning that you were or I would have kept it. And your "ALL PURPOSE" mode #'s in the R1T are better than I see by 0.3-0.4 in those modes, which is why I primarily use the "CONSERVE" mode.
Geeze that suks, I hope you get better news s00n. I'm not sure people are going to put up with this type of service once more options become available. IMHO the truck is worth sucking it up for, even with the terrible communication and service you have received. Wishing you luck
That is the highest to date. Congratulations. Getting harder to see a easy path to 25k unless they are cranking Vans out. And we probably won’t have those #’s until the next quarterly report.
My personal experience with both trucks was that the Rivian exceeds the EPA estimate for my driving style. And the Ford is behind the EPA estimates.
The difference on the highway is exaggerated at 70+ as the Ford is pushing a lot more air.
All based on Conserve Mode in the R1T
Can’t say exactly as my wife checks my browsing history. To many to make any sense of.
Don’t have any gofast trucks at the moment. I was going to put a 2650 on the F150 5.0 but bought a motorcycle instead
Subtle is a good word for it, it’s not annoying and most people who ride in my truck comment on how quiet it is. I think Rivian will be able to improve on it over time. But I’m used to it now and really don’t notice it unless I’m on a longer drive or it’s windy.
Totally agree with @Yellow Buddy
By a large margin yes. The wind noise is the area where the R1T falls short. It’s a relative thing both are quiet just not as quiet as the Ford
If the size suits you and your happy with 560hp. I think the Lightning is a better truck atm. The Lightning ride, quietness, storage and AA & CP are where the Ford shines. For me the size and conserve mode factored in to efficiency coupled with 250 more ponies was why I kept the R1T
Tired of "nearly everybody complaining" While you didn't miss AA/CarPlay that doesn't mean "nearly everybody" else shouldn't. I'm open to a better interface that CarPlay but Rivian isn't even in the sandbox as far as that goes. No native HQ music source, no hard connection, Alexa is clumsy and...
My guide Jess has been solid, we did have few delayed responses but I think that was based on her not getting answers from the team on how to move forward.
Hoping you have received an update by now??
Optimistic, production of another +10k vehicles outside the R1T. While having to double R1T production rate in these last 4 months. Hopefully they can pull it off
