  1. Who says you’ve gotta unhitch to charge?

Yeah the reconfigurable seats are super cool. Glad you’re enjoying yours.
  2. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

Thank you very much for this heads up. I just checked my 2023 LE R1S (vin 198) and sure enough the driver’s side front carpet is soaked. My 2022 R1T (vin 14363) is dry.

  4. Comma AI/OpenPilot Update -- Watch it in Action on Gen1 Rivian (Video)

Anyone who has the comma, would you be so kind to provide the dimensions of the device (height, width, and depth)? The dimensions are not listed anywhere online. I’m waiting for mine to ship and would like to get an appropriately sized hard plastic case for it.
  5. Idaho WTB 22” Sport Dark Wheels

I shipped wheels only and not tires. Having tires makes the packaging easier. Rates, of course, depend on weight and shipping distance. Pirate ship is always cheaper than what you’d pay in person at a USPS or UPS location.
  6. Idaho WTB 22” Sport Dark Wheels

Unsolicited advice from someone who has shipped wheels recently. Package them up yourself and use pirateship.com to buy/print your labels. Will be much, much cheaper
  7. Comma AI/OpenPilot Update -- Watch it in Action on Gen1 Rivian (Video)

Yeah I came across Janka’s mount the other day. I like the custom usb C cable running from the mount to the back of the comma device. Seems almost like OEM comma
  8. (Ended) Comma 3x Sale for $899

Would you mind linking the magnetic USB connector you used? Also, I’ve never been on discord, to order the Chun, do I just DM Blake or does he have a “store front” on there?
  9. Comma AI/OpenPilot Update -- Watch it in Action on Gen1 Rivian (Video)

Questions for those that have done the install. I have both an R1T and R1S. I’m planning to just get one comma device and two harnesses ($99 comma harnesses) to be able to switch the device between vehicles. Few questions: -The comma comes with two mounts in the box. Are both mounts 8 degrees...
  10. Test Drove Gen 2 Quad Yesterday...

Yeah I thought they were going to bring back forest edge (in ascend) for the quad. Would have made a lot of sense since they brought launch green back.
  11. (Ended) Comma 3x Sale for $899

Yeah in the same boat, was going to pull the trigger tonight. Odd to have a countdown banner and then have it end randomly. I opened a request to see if they’d honor the price given the misleading countdown. If you want to submit one - https://commasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  12. (Ended) Comma 3x Sale for $899

Last question and I appreciate your time answering. When only using the comma harness/rivian longitudinal control, are you able to actively adjust the max speed without disengaging? Or are you locked in at the max speed when you activate openpilot?
  13. (Ended) Comma 3x Sale for $899

Makes sense, thank you for the explanation. I’m on the fence between using the stock Comma harness and the upgraded harness for SunnyPilot. I will only be using it on highways. For this use case specifically, is it less reliable or less smooth with the stock harness/Rivian longitudinal...
  14. (Ended) Comma 3x Sale for $899

Newbie here - with SunnyPilot being recently outdated (I assume because the main branch of OpenPilot got an update), does that mean if you want longitudinal control you’ll always have to run the outdated version of SunnyPilot or will there be new “versions” of SunnyPilot.
  15. What amount would you spend to upgrade from Gen1 Quad to Gen2 tri-max?

I think DuoRivian is implying that once the 2026 models come out, there’s enough 2025 inventory they’ll need to push so likely heavier incentives on those than there are now.
  16. Tesla FSD drives down railroad tracks, gets hit by train

They have done it before when there was an accident. This is just one example - https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna69865
  17. Tesla FSD drives down railroad tracks, gets hit by train

I’m not arguing NHTSA data or math you presented. I’m arguing the situation of the vehicle making a left turn at a seemingly perpendicular intersection between the road and the railroad tracks at the speeds that have been discussed. I am speculating that the car would have had to turn at much...
