  1. How long do you plan to keep your current Rivian?

I still have my 2008 f250 and my 2013 Volt. I've had the R1t for 1.5 years with zero issues. I'll keep it indefinitely.
  2. New Rival: 2026 Jeep Recon EV revealed. $65,000, 250 miles range, 0-60 3.6s

Very late to the game. They've been teasing this for too long. I remember trying to get more details on this 4 years ago when I was deciding if I wanted to wait for an ev jeep or bronco. Happy with my R1t. Why so long from Introduction to release when other companies have already blazed the way?
  3. Stock price prediction upon release of the R2?

I bought my Rivian to support a company with worthwhile values in a time of needed transition. It's by far the most expensive vehicle I've ever, or will ever purchase. It's also the most awesome vehicle I have ever or will ever purchase. I bought my Chevy volt in 2012 to commute, not pollute...
  4. Stock price prediction upon release of the R2?

I'm wondering if offering the compact (R3) as the second Rivian release might have been a better marketing decision. Will current Rivian owners step down one size to purchase the planned R2 when the differences don't seem that dramatic? A lower priced FWD compact, an AWD , along with the...
  5. Review: I rode the ALSO TM-B E-Bike: Rivian Micromobility Startup’s First EV

Will the charging network be called the ALSO RAN? But seriously I don't find it unappealing at all. Take a look at most of the other ebikes available. Most are either bulky or gaudy or both. I own 4 ebikes that are the more standard Inexpensive brands averaging 1000 to 1500 dollars. 2 are...
  6. Do you plan routes based on chargers, views or other factors?

Since my travel usually involves passing through or around southern Cal , if I am driving late at night and in the wee hours of the a.m. I stay on the interstates where chargers are plentiful. If I'm driving during traffic hours I use the smaller state routes and have to deal with less...
  7. Would you still buy your Rivian today?

17 months and over 10k miles on my 2024 R1t. I look forward to driving it every time. Zero issues in the entire time including a 2000 total mile trip. Other than rotating the tires each 5k and cleaning it there has been nothing involved. My insurance is quite affordable. You already know about...
  8. New Rivian service centers coming to Colorado (Centennial and Louisville)

Louisville Colorado, as you know. Louisville Kentucky already has one in Shepherdsville just south of Louisville.
  9. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

Dracula is clearly riding like that due to painful inflamed hemorrhoids. See the look on his face? Incidentally they are a secondary but far less preferable source of venous "blud" access for vampires.
  10. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

Vampire drain. What Vampire drain? HA HA HA HA HA!
  11. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

Actually, other than the mid unit it looks alot like every other step through commuter ebike. I'm more interested in what makes it unique from the numerous others in its category. Is it lighter? Is it more tech sophisticated? More powerful? Easier to operate?
  12. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

Here are a couple of AI enhanced images. Notice the second one has both a hub chain and derailleur chain. Obviously incorrect. Does it have a rear swing arm suspension?
  13. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

You can use an ebike for exercise. They are great for folks who can't ride a regular bike but still can benefit from the varying amount of exertion vs assist that ebikes offer. Also you can take them camping in state parks without paying an additional vehicle fee.
  14. Rivian E-Bike (by ALSO startup) revealed in leaked images

I have ebikes from Velotric, Aventon, Lectric, and Maxfoot. Each costs around $1000 plus or minus a couple hundred. 2 are fat tire. 2 are foldable for easy transport. All have removable batteries and between 350 and 750 watts power. They all are class 2 and have top speeds of 20 to 24 mph They...
  15. LA Silver + STEK Dynomatte PPF

I bought my LA silver R1t from the Rivian shop 15 months ago, and it came with free full body stealth PPF. It's been a pleasure. Easy to clean. Hides dirt well. I love the stainless steel like finish. Holding up very well. I hand wash it and use a California car duster frequently. Good choice.
  16. J1772 AC to NACS adapter was left behind HEADS-UP

If I found your adapter where you left it I would do the following. Leave a note., that I found it , on or near the charging station stating that I would be leaving it at the local law enforcement station. I have found them helpful with valuable lost items in the past. I know how I feel...
  17. RAN chargers total 780+ stalls, 123 locations, 37 states (with 65% open to all EVs) - as of August 5, 2025

Here is the Tesla Supercharger location in Arroyo Grande Ca. Almost 50 chargers. No problem charging nonTeslas. Another Tesla Supercharger location in Pismo Beach 3 miles away. Then stuck hidden away behind a strip mall is a RAN with 4 chargers. And the cost difference is substantial. I almost...
