To be clear, the suggestion is to turn off Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), or just LKA? I have LDW on, normal with haptic on/sound off but LKA turned off.
I cut a piece of no-slip under-rug pad and put it underneath, but it pretty much stays put without it. I like that I can put some water bottles in it and can avoid using the built-in cup holders. I will try to take some pictures later.
I have this one...

Fits well and is easily removable if you want to access the speaker.
Strongly agree with toggle screens with steering wheel buttons. It’s a safety feature as trying to hit the small touch controls is tricky. Alexa works to switch to nav screen but can’t get it to change to drive mode screen, etc.
Do we think that the Amazon delivery van deal includes a clause to make Alexa the default with no CP/AA, or is it really just that Rivian wants to control the user experience? Or maybe both? Or I'm way off. I haven't seen this offered as an excuse in the many threads I've read on the subject so far.
The market decides what a "fair" price is and Rivian can decide what price and volume maximizes profits long term. Right now there's still a long waiting list, so even though there are those in this thread that wouldn't buy at the current price there seems to be plenty that will. A year or two...
Yes, because I think the residual value will hold up even with the competition coming. 90k less what I can get for it in 3-5 years will be worth it for me, especially with the enjoyment I am getting out of it now.
The session summary in the app:
Energy delivered: +34.0 kWh
Time elapsed: 3 hr 1 min
+70 miles in Sport Mode
The session summary seems to indicate it charged at 11.27 kW even though the truck's screen and the app showed 10 kW when in progress. I'm inclined to think it's functioning near/at its...
After the electrician changed the dip switches the charging was still at 7kW. I turned off and on the charger and it improved to 10kW. I will call and see if support can get it to 11.5kW, but I suspect it's more a problem of my building.
I can confirm that the 3 dip switches are in the up position as I watched the electrician adjust them. The middle one was in the down position when it was wired with 8 awg. The truck reads 48a where it used to show 32a fwiw.
The circuit box and the wall charger are on different floors of the garage, so it's greater than 100 feet. I am checking whether it's 208 or 240 3 phase. Thanks.
My electrician originally hardwired the Rivian wall charger with a 40a circuit, 32a current with 8 awg wire. I was getting 7kW speed and ~ 13 miles per kWh. I had him rewire it with 6 awg wire to get the max 60a circuit, 48a current. My first charge after the upgrade charged from 45% - 70% had...
I got Alexa to work with Spotify. I had to download the Alexa app to my phone, sign into Amazon account, change defaults from Amazon Music to Spotify, deleted Alexa app from phone. Now, "Alexa play band/song/etc on Spotify" works
Really informative video that explains why Teslatap Mini is made better than Lectron and why it's worth the extra money. He opens up both in this video and a previous one.
