If I have been given a delivery timeline of 3pm to 7pm, can I expect them to show up at 3pm or do I need to try to clear my schedule for the entire 4 hours?

Totally agree. Both the customers and Rivian would benefit from a slower process. It would also be helpful if we, the customer, understood the process a bit better. When is the truck actually ready for delivery? Will it be shipped directly from the factory to it's final destination? Will it be...
@kylealden congrats! She’s beautiful. Can you elaborate on the plastic wrapping being the possible cause for the paint scuffing? Surely some protective plastic wrapping doesn’t cause that, right?? I guess I’m hoping they don’t all have this issue if the plastic was used to protect the trucks...
Happy for those with some recent forward movement! I signed PBA two weeks ago. Wall charger arrived yesterday and my guide told me my R1T was in production. No VIN that I know of. Fingers crossed my 8 steps opens this week. We shall see.
I predict a ton of deliveries the next 3-4 weeks. Call me an optimist but Rivian is figuring it out. My guide gave me some good news yesterday and I got an email saying the wall charger is on its way. Truck will soon follow.......
So I have an R1T and R1S reservation. The S probably won't be built until 2023 (May 2021 reservation for it). My call yesterday was for the R1T. He said it could happen by the end of this month. I am trying very hard not to get my hopes up.
