That isn't the button for the frunk. That is the lower forward facing camera. The "button" for the frunk is tucked up farther under the grill. Here's a closeup of the camera.
The pictures I took are in this thread starting at post #1014

The "Saggy" Mess Pockets are in the lower sections of the doors and I wasn't allowed to take pictures of them but I think they have been...
Here is a picture I took when it was in Austin. You can clearly see the extra panel in the picture. It slides up with the tailgate. In other words as you lift the tailgate it also lifts and sandwiches to the tailgate.
Since you brought up my video I feel like I should clarify.... (I do agree with you mostly). They did in fact let me get close and look into the vehicle they just didn't want me taking any video or pictures of the interior.... Their reasoning is that many things on the interior were "subject to...
That’s interesting.... you’re right about most folks thinking rock crawling or attempting to traverse steps where wheelbase matters. I hadn’t thought of desert running even though I am looking forward to doing some of that in and around Death Valley. Can you expand on what the benefits are of...
I believe the Rivian guys told @Jsidell that when he ran into them (or Stalked them ? ) down on South Congress here in Austin.

It's absolutely the same truck that was in Austin. They told me about their plans to stop at several places (including Big Bend) on their way back to LA. White Sands is easily on their path to home.
There was no space sacrificed in the Gear Tunnel it was full size. I did not look under the second row seats where I suspect the extra battery capacity would have been. They didn't really want me "studying" the interior anyway....
In this one it was plastic... someone else mentioned maybe they aren’t using all the “best material” for these test vehicles... and another reason they don’t want a bunch of close up pictures maybe..... or maybe it’s just gonna be plastic....
oh and one final note about the false floor - I don't actually know if they are going to offer that with the vehicle at all or not... If so will it be included or an optional add on. The guys pointed it out to me as if to say the regular frunk is much deeper not to point it out as a feature...
I went back through all my photos to see if I had any better angles... but unfortunately I don't... However, I didn't think the frunk was smaller at all. Comparing to the picture of the older show models there are definitely differences. There is a much more pronounced lip covered in a gasket...
Yes - there was indeed a light bar in the gear tunnel. Very similar to the light bars in the bed. I’ll see if any of my pictures captured the lights in the bed. Yep - here.... very similar light bar was in the gear tunnel.
*Edit- I did not ask if they were in the final production config...
