Agree with R1Maybe Would be awesome if dual motor R1T / R1S are priced very attractively for price locked customers and make it a no brainer for purchase. R1T quad motor is ready to go and new customers may get their truck s00ner….let’s hope the Enduro motors are also ready to go!

glad that you were able to remedy your situation it would be great if Rivian would allow Launch Edition R1T’s to be delivered minus the powered tonneau, and to allow us to have the manual tonneau or no tonneau instead.

When looking at the front of the R1T, there is a sticker on the top left hand corner of the windshield. It said something like “approved or licensed to use in Canada” or something, I cannot remember. Maybe the R1T is for testing in Canada which makes me think it is a Rivian Canada employee’s truck.

yes…BC license plates started with 2 letters. I asked the lady where I get my car insurance from and the R1T at 8532 lbs (I got that # from Rivian Customer Service) will require commercial truck plates…
