Hi Everyone, I just thought I would share our new wheels and quick range test in this thread.
https://www.mountainpassperformance.com/product/mpp-mega-terra-rivian-r1t-r1s-forged-wheels/
The wheels are currently available for preorder. We've been able to keep nearly the factory offset which...
It should also be mentioned that this is one of the things we do as a part of our development. The purpose of our pre-order phase is to get long-term testing running in parallel to confirm there won't be any unexpected side-effects.
Lowering links have been used on air-suspension equipped cars...
Thanks for the great reply. I think that this is a decisive topic and we can all agree that the common aggravating party here is PayPal. For us, this policy has created tension a few times. $8 is not significant but when someone wants to cancel a $3500 order it ends up being over $100 in lost...
Hey all,
I'm very happy to report that we were able to ship out the first batch a few days earlier than we had projected, so those of you who pre-ordered (thank you very much by the way!) should have them any day now!
Looking forward to hearing feedback from everyone. In the meantime, here's...
This post should really wait until tomorrow after we've made a full pre-order page but I'm too excited not to share.
Our in-house designed truck wheel - which we've named "MEGA TERRA" (our other wheels for the Tesla Model 3 are named Mega Mesh) - have arrived and they look absolutely stunning...
Hi Everyone,
We've sold out of our initial pre-production allocation, thanks to everyone who ordered! The response was overwhelming to be honest!
The parts are planned for anodizing next Monday and then engraving on Tuesday. With any luck the kits may be shipping as early as next week to...
We placed an order for the R2 with great excitement when it was revealed, so we hope to have one as soon as possible! It took us painfully long to get our R1T here in Canada, but it seems like that was mostly due to a lack of service/delivery facility in Toronto. Hopefully, we will get the R2 at...
I don't see why not, although that is most likely a configuration issue with the vehicle. Also you'd need to ensure that this was actually the case by levelling the truck multiple times on a very flat surface.
Our truck is often high/low on one side versus the other, but also sometimes level...
Lol thanks!! And sorry?! I'm not sure if the R1S has as much rake as the R1T does, but rake on an SUV would certainly be worse than rake on a pickup truck!
Regarding camp mode leveling, we just tried a number of different combinations and it doesn't seem like the Triple-L's have an effect on...
Yes absolutely. In an earlier life we ran a performance shop installing aftermarket parts. So we very much understand the need for high-quality clear instructions. In fact, we've already taken photos for our instruction guide, not to worry!
Here's our hand model Jesse demonstrating how to pop...
This is just needed for cold climates to keep your coffee warm.
Ok but really it's used to warm up the OEM ride height sensor links. They are an interesting rubber/plastic matrix and when the end is heated up they become much softer and easier to remove/reinstall from the ball studs.
Good question! We'll try this out today. Speculating here I would expect the system to rely on the IMU (level sensor) for leveling in camp mode.
We'll test this out in the next couple of days with the Triple-L's set to a ridiculous rake angle (like the towing example above) and see how the...
Thanks! This is what we recorded hub to fender:
OEM Highest:
Front - 566mm
Rear - 587mm
Triple L's at the highest setting:
Front - 601mm
Rear - 605mm
We did notice a larger-than-usual variation in the ride heights that are achieved at the "highest" setting, so it's possible the system is...
Happy to announce that we've added our first Rivian product to the website! A significant moment for all of us here no doubt, and hopefully the first of many parts!
We're currently making a run of 20 kits of these "Triple-L" height adjustment kits for beta testers, if you're interested here's...
Hi Everyone,
I hope this is the right place to post this. As we shared on our Instagram and a little bit in the MPP section on the forum, we've been working on a unique air suspension height adjustment solution for these trucks. If you don't know about us or you haven't heard the MPP name, I...
