I got my aftermarket one from Interrobang Automotive. It's a real nice tonneau cover. I'm very impressed with the quality and fit. Looks just as good and truthfully feels more solid than the one that was on my original R1T. (new one didn't come with one.)
This has been an issue that pops up after some of the OTA updates. Been seeing it on the R1Ts for at least a year. A soft reset will wipe it out. It might come back again. If so, reset again. And you guys are right--it sounds exactly like a blown speaker. But the reset does fix it.
all I know is the things that the police officer said in the police report. He was for sure badly injured. I’ve forgiven the guy. I still have some PTSD from it, but I hope he made it and that he uses this to turn his life around. But I also hope he never drives a vehicle ever again.
As someone who had a Rivian get totaled, I will say 3 things on this.
1. the R1T protected us from serious injury (or worse.) My son was not hurt at all and I walked away with muscle trauma to my neck but no spinal injury. The person that hit us was severely injured. I don't know his condition...
I'm on my second T. (First one was totaled by a drunk driver hitting us. I've documented that in other thread a few months ago.)
My first T was a 3k VIN. The new one is 24k. I loved the OG truck and I'm so thankful for how it protected us when we crashed. But as far as quality the new truck is...
Lane change with D+
Savable Custom EQ Settings
Steering Wheel not being 2% off center
Air Vents stay where you have them and not losing their position
Mapping glitch that now occurs at traffic lights where it jumps around and then re-routes you because it thinks you have moved
and not an...
A few thoughts.
1. I get the sticker shock, for those of us who had OG pricing. When my OG (3k VIN) got totaled a few months ago, I was shocked at the prices in the R1 shop as well. But when you start comparing it to the price of other trucks today (even ICE) it's probably right where it should...
Yes. And there was an update last summer that did this too. To fix it simply click on the vent and turn it off and then click it and turn it back on. It then goes where you direct it.
I have been charging since March of 2021 at home on this charger. And have never had any issues until the last week+. My handle doesn't feel hot. I really don't know what is going on. And unrelated perhaps, but I had to charge on the road once last week at a 150 kwh charger and it charged fine...
yes having this exact same problem. Hopefully per the other thread it is eliminated in the next update. --though the rivian software account on twitter/threads released the next software update notes last night and I didn't see anything mentioned about this issue
On mine, I went ahead and manually turned on my charger at 8pm last night. I looked at 9pm and it was still charging. Looked at 10 still working. Looked again at 11 and it had "vehicle error" as the message in the app. But I was too tired to get up and mess with it. This morning I see that at...
Mine is having this issue as of 2 days ago. It will charge for a little while and then it has an error. I've had the wall charger over a year and never had an issue until now.
When mine got totaled the insurance folks told me by eyeballing it it would get totaled probably even if it wasn’t technically totaled. He said Tesla was like this for years too. All the parts go into new builds. So getting parts is very difficult. Over time that probably will get better. But he...
My new R1T got 2.27 mi/kWh on a 300 mile trip today. Th new one doesn’t have the tonneau cover. My old one (the one that got totaled) had the power tonneau cover and I always got a little better range on this same drive. But it was 97 degrees today too. So not sure if the temp or the lack of...
