What I love about the Google Maps upgrade:
- How the map and location pointer freeze for hours on end until I "reboot" the "screens", after 10k miles of flawless driving in the 2025 $110,000 vehicle. Amazing improvement.
- The extra-large font and UI that my 102-year-old grandma can now read...
Unpopular option. Apple Maps looks and works such much better. I wouldn't have said that 5 years ago, but today, Google Maps looks like Windows 95. I hate it.
That's interesting. With the JD250, the manual specifically calls out that the DC offset and speaker sensing only work on channel 1. But I guess to each is their own. What's the delay you are seeing before the amp is turned off?
I just double checked my connection with the JD250/1 amp. I'm using the turn-on mode "DC Offset-Sensing" with Input Voltage Range "High". It works, and does turn off the amp but it takes a few minutes. 1-3 minutes after the vehicle goes to sleep.
Haven’t looked yet myself. Been using signal sensing without any strange power draw. But would like to switch to remote on/off for better power management.
Thanks, chaps. Finally worked for me this morning. I was not getting the “sign out to use a different account”.
What worked was: switch vehicle profile to my wifes, switch back to mine, sign out of account, reactivate with new QR code.
Anyone else getting an error activating Apple Music? “Subscription Not Found”. It has been working fine since I got the truck in Dec 2024. Since the last update, I just get the error.
I checked my Apple ID/Account. No changes there. Music works fine everywhere else.
Rebooted the vehicle...
Perhaps I should clarify this question a bit. (hypothetically numbers)
Let’s assume the front motor can generate up to 20 kWh on its own. What grade and speed would you need to be traveling on to generate a maximum of 20 kWh? Now assume the rear motors can generate 10 kWh each. So front and...
It seems some folks here are confusing Gen 1 dual motor with Gen 2 Tri Motor.
Tri Motor in Conserve mode actually runs all 3 motors up until you reach higher speeds of 30mph+, then is disabled the rear two motors. Using Conserve mode on flat long distance trips, at highway speeds, usually...
Tri Max road tripper here. About to go down hill a couple of dozen miles. What’s more effective for regen: conserve with just the front motor engaged, or all-purpose with all 3 motors doing regen?
I guess I’m curious if just the front motor can harvest as much energy as all three. Thanks!
Relax everyone, as soon as Jeff is back from his wedding in Venice and his contracts run out with Rivian, and Rivian realizes it's losing more money from people withholding from buying their vehicles instead of paying their connect+ subscription, that will implement CarPlay. Then you can all...
