Ok I see. Based on my research I think Discount Tire may have the specs off for these 116H tires. The E rated ones (also in 265/65/20) on Tire Rack are showing 57lbs.
Seems like Rivian would have opted for a lighter tire to help with range and 57lbs is in line with a lot of E rates tires from...
First off, thank you for putting this extensive list together. I’m curious where you got the specs for 20” stock Pirelii’s. Pirelli doesn’t have any specs listed on their website. Tire rack has the specs listed in the screenshot below. The weight and max PSI differ quite a bit from what’s on...
I looked on Nitto’s site and it’s the same, 44psi max.
Besides what’s listed on tire rack, I was just trying to verify the weight of the Pirelli's, but it’s very hard to find info on them since their website doesn’t have any specs info.
Hi All,
I have a set of 20’s and am looking for a replacement A/T from the stock Pirelli tires.
I found the Nitto Recon Grapplers that are rated at 116T. I’m drawn to these vs the LT rated ones since they’re about the same weight as stock and want to minimize further range impact.
I know the...
It largely depends on driving style (how heavy your foot is) and if you rotate regularly. As you can see by the tread measurements on mine, if 9/32” is new, then you can get a lot more than 10k out of them.
4 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires - HL275/50R22
OEM 22" tire
8,276 miles
-Rotated at 5k miles
-Most of the mileage is highway miles
-These have not seen launches (wife’s vehicle and the power of this vehicle scares her)
Per Tire Rack, new these have 9/32” tread.
See pics for tread measurements...

Just installed these on my S this past Monday. Love them so far, hardly any noise increase compared to the stock Pirelli’s. Always prefer an AT over HT for capability purposes, but they also fit the look of the Rivian so much better
I installed these on my R1S yesterday per recommendations from others on here. I don’t think speed rating and tread life are correlated, but I’m no expert. The Continentals have a 60k tread warranty.
They look great and I can hardly tell a difference in road noise. Time will tell, but on paper...
