I am very sorry; while you second guess cancellation, I am sure some will second guess their ultimate purchase. The good news is this is just a thing and won't matter much in the grand scheme.
Dumb question from a guy coming from a car with almost no tech: Can you just shut off all this stuff off (lane centering, lane departure warning, etc.) and just ride on cruise control or adaptive cruise control?
Neither my 2011 nor 2014 vehicles have any of that stuff. Not even adaptive...
Wow the 17% change without public information screams of the potential for insider trading. On the plus side, that also suggests the information is positive deliveries.
Congrats! I would also look at a better route planner - lets you put in speed and temperature and vehicle to try to get a better accuracy as well as high speed chargers.
If the past with R1ts holds this means you could have the vehicle within a few weeks, say mid-late April. For a March/April estimate this is better than the analogous January/February R1t estimates, which suggests the ramp is going well if true. Of course lots of speculations.
Eager I am happy for you, seeing your posts over years at this point. What is your build?
I am an R1s with a May June window so think I will be asked to run to the factory or something on June 31.
Thank you for this. For the newbie (me) can you explain coldgating, yo-yo driving, and battery conditioning?
Is it effectively that because the car was using energy during the charge to warm the battery, it could not draw?
One key use case in the winter is driving in the call about 250...
We rented a house near Gore ski area around North Creek NY (it was part of the deal for getting a cover puppy last year). It worked out great. The stars are amazing there. My inlaws was a moose and our son saw a bear. I skied 31 days : ) and my 11 yo did a legit double black there.
You're in Michigan so I just didn't know. Haha. I'm on Long Island. . . . . Don't hold it against me. We drive to the Adirondack mountains in the winter.
Thank you, and off topic, but I will be using this to weekend to ski mountains - saw your great charge post in 34 deg. Have you gotten a chance to charge in colder temps than that? Thanks so much for sharing the info you have.
From anecdotal evidence I think it means it is a day to a few away - it may be at the distribution point but they are doing the final check and need to schedule with you. I think it means you get it this week.
All this kind of stuff makes me think they are sprinting to March 31 and then...
