I've never got around to installing these and ended up selling my R1S. Alll new in unopened box as delivered. Your cost delivered and WA sales tax would be $1100 if you buy it from EV sportline.
Asking $850
Yep. all fair points. I put a premium on the unique color and it being an launch edition. Yeah that car above is cheaper and less miles but it's not LE so no Launch green and cheaper wheel option. again, if no one cares the avocado color, I will find that out and be very sad.
That being said...
Yes of course. I didn't think no first gen R1S is worth over $80k and unless it has like 20k-30k miles, not under $70k. I don't know what is actual sold price but at least the asking price of all R1S in 50 miles radious of me seems to be in $70k-$80k range. it seems that R1S is extremly popular...
Early 2021 reservation holder and it pains me that I have to sell my dream car. It was a stratch even at early pricing and I soon realized I can't afford it nor I actually need this. I manage to put just a bit over 7k miles in last 13 month, never had to charge more than 70% only once for a sole...
It’s always a same panel from front a pillar to rear quarter panel modern cars unlike front fender. Its whether manufacturers sells repair sections or not and provides approved methods and location to cut and weld in. Just watch you tube on how quarter panels are replaced. Rivian only sells...
this is my R1 and I have been trying to fix this since January. Only certified shop at the time wanted $15k to fix this dent and my Geico wouldn’t budge at $10k. This is a terrible design. Almost no modern car does this. Plus number of certified shops are increasing. We now have 3 in our area...
Yup that’s what I noticed at the reveal. That small plastic panel below the rear tail light alone will save tens of thousands of dollars in quarter panel repair or whole side panel replacement.
I don't know what it takes for a bodyshop to be Rivian certified... surprised to see there is only 1 shop for the entire Washington... or western washington as 2 other choice for me was one in Vancouver Canada (!) and other in Oregon. I am assuming there is a major cost involved and certain...
oh man... I mixed up .42 and 46 together. so confused... I assumed .46 was the one I received and it massed up my loaner T which I returned on Nov 21 (don't ask why would you update a loaner car) and then when I eventually got the notification on my own S, I just thought it was the same version...
Thanks. My guide came through and although Rivian email never came I received one from onespan asking me to sign the report. Thank god for this forum... I wouldn't have a slightest idea and would wonder why my EV credit claim was rejected...
Is the link in the email is user specific I suppose (meaning I can't use someone else's link and input my name and SSN)? I never received any email just because my original email used for purchase became invalid (old hotmail) and I had to chage it recently and I no longer getting any emails from...
No,y ou are not alone in thinking that. I read and post frequently and I too wondered what's going on. You see .46 was released late because it was messed up. .46 was initially released internally begining of November as week 46 means 11/13 to 11/19 and to public end of November. it ended up...
Is this where you brag about your driving skills ?
This really hurt... took me all of the weekend to get over it and finally be able to talk about it other people. I was depressed and ashamed. Couldn't look my wife in the eye.
I did this in the parking lot.. speed of 1-3 mph.. with 360 camera...
That doesn't sound normal. While Rivian's suspension and ride isn't like car based SUVs... say Lexus or BMW even but my R1S at 3300 miles isn't doing that. That rattling sound like as if your shock top mount is worn out and rattling like it has 200k miles.
I had a "misfurtune" of taking a delivery of R1T in 2022 to flip while waiting for a R1S (keeper, delivered June 2023)
Already took full $7500 credit on 2022 tax so my calculation shows I would get about $3.5k if I ammend on 2022 so I am thinking to just claim it on 2023 tax for $3750 credit...
Has anyone happened this to a loaner car??!? ?
My R1S is in shop and on a loander R1T... why did I hit the update button... don't ask. it looked like a good idea at the moment last night.
Of course I didn't get the text or email since it's not mine... I guess I will text my SA.. they should...
this thread makes me feel good that I am not stupid. I tried to pair it the first day after getting my R1S and gave up and never touched it. and I am an IT Engineer since early dotcom era and Ive rebuilt engines and automatic transmissions.
Yeah that's exactly it I think. I don't mind the cut/joint... that's totally normal but in my case it has this dark contrasting stain around the cut making it pretty visible from the distance... like someone highlighting the cut with a sharpie... "look it's right here, you see?" First thing I...
