Problem with all this is you can't use the Tesla App and discount pricing. If you do, both Tesla and Rivian will charge you for the same charging session. Happened to me. Have a ticket into Rivian on this..

I have a Rivian charger with a direct connect to a 240 box. The approved wiring gets warm at 48amps, so I backed it down to 38 amps charging at night. Constant expansion and contraction of the wiring can loosing the wiring nuts. So good to check them every so often.

I think your dreaming..the refresh is about efficiency, saving monies in production. I doubt there will be features added. Less computers less wiring..etc.. but! There is always hope.. All the features I want like blinker mirrors can be done with software upgrades.

I got to agree Underwhelming.. Nav does not let you set destination charge for intermediate stops. In the past I have come to a intermediate stop with 4% left. So many other info features missing who cares about the rear screen. Where is Utube videos?

A2Z has an adapter that have proven to work with the Ford and I'm sure you it will work with the Rivian. It's $200 bucks. I already order mine.. I got a road trip in June... For the Eclipse look up the Hestia Telescope for the cell phone. Pretty cool.
