I just got the email this morning that my R1S selected from the Shop on Tuesday is ready to leave the factory and make its way to your Rivian Service Center. I wonder how Rivian is getting trucks to Orlando these days - rail and then carrier? We'll see...
I got my VIN... Thanks to all who have shared on this thread over the last few months - all these posts have been super helpful. On my first time seeing the shop login option this afternoon I opened it, saw my config, and grabbed it. Per my guide it is in Normal and headed to Florida s00n.
Great point. There should be some good swap o
That's a pretty great trade in $$. I'm watchin
Just waiting on my access to come through... please nobody swoop my config in the meantime!
Thanks for posting these updates - I'm reading these all the time. My family's second R1S order window is coming up soon and there is one of our exact config in the shop
Very cool - thanks for sharing. This is a bit more than I would want to try on mine, but I appreciate your craftsmanship. I'm still using the V1 with suction mounts and the power tap, details in this thread...
Here's the thread mentioned above - https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/radar-detector-hard-wire-who-has-done-it.4253/
I also used this to install my V1. I'm in a loaner truck right now and thankfully it has the cigarette lighter receptacle. I too found the USB-phone cord links...
My friend Jimmy just told me that the key card should always be with you. I might start wearing my Rivian bracelet... Or, like the old days, I might try to "hide a key" somewhere under my car with a magnet or something...
Me too. I use two step authentication and can't get in on the web or my phone. And mobile tech out of Orlando just left about 15 minutes before this happened fixing my seat back adjustment. Hopefully this will be fixed soon...
I left the crossbars on for a while but I've started leaving them off since I use a drive-thru car wash regularly. The crossbars definitely make some noise and impact range. The noise, even with the Maxtraxx installed on the roof too, never bothered me.
From a range perspective, now that...
I haven't yet been able to drive more than 200 miles without feeling an overwhelming urge to stop at Sam's or Wal-Mart to go pee and buy some granola, but maybe that's because I have 22s and usually drive in all purpose auto. I thought that might change after the most recent update but it didn't...
I like the look as well, but I’ve had mine off for a couple of weeks. As info, the cross bars and Maxtrax fit easily in the frunk if you ever need to stow them there-
Has anyone 3D printed a low profile bottle holder/organizer for the lower console in front of the camp speaker that might be willing to share the 3D print files? @RWerksman have you made anything for this lower area yet? Thanks in advance for anyone who sees this and might share!
Great design! As I've said on other threads of yours, the console basket, sunglass holder, and ball mount made the trip with me to pick up my Rivian - my delivery specialist was very impressed with the designs! I use your cell phone ball mount and couldn't live without it. As we all know the...
See you there Jimmy! your meetup in this location last August was the first time I saw more than one Rivian together, and I think there were about 20. Hopefully we'll fill up the parking deck this time!
