looks good but its unfortunate about the sharp edges on that thing, definitely do not use soft shackles if you need to do a recovery. I've got a similar one that I've had in service for years now on previous trucks, that has nice chamfered edges, but doesnt have the step like that one...
Right here! I'm always up for the challenge of getting stuck somewhere!
@Ramble On Rivian good luck with mojave road! the charging situation could get... dicey. Let us know how it goes!
Oh, broken infrastructure is absolutely on the provider, and I think Rivian should get kudos since we rarely see or hear of a broken RAN charger.
Different states offer forms of subsidization to help build stations though, and for example CA state govt is dumping money into building more...
Is the problem that the sound annoys you, or that you're concerned contact is going to damage something behind the liners?
If its the former, I recommend turning the left side steering wheel knob up while music is playing until the rubbing is no longer noticeable.
If the latter, and for some...
Updated some details and pictures
@Hyro thanks! That makes a lot of sense, and is good to know. Sometimes I stake them out when its windy because the flapping is annoying.
@RoadTripFan and @Riviot I kinda just eyeballed this and made it work from a single piece of 24x48 plywood that you can...
It also hasnt specified if vehicle has underbody shield or not... I definitely wouldnt use one of these without sliders because the side plastic bits would just get crushed, but if the underbody shield is able to take point loading from rock crawling and stuff, i dont see why not.

@Reed I laughed at it too... but it really is the best. It makes the worst parts of cold camping (getting into and out of bed) so much more tolerable. It lets you essentially just get...
Inspired by @swhme and some great things I found on his thread to upgrade my setup, I wanted to post up some gear winners and lessons learned from my winter camping trips in the Sierras and desert to maybe inspire some of y'all. Especially this year as I've essentially lived out of my R1T & tent...

Well if you're talking about elevation delta... and if this is a competition... you gotta give yourself a score!
Maximum driveable delta: 14,422 ft
Lowest: Death Valley Badwater Basin, -282 ft
Highest: Mount Evans byway, 14,140 ft
I give myself a 71% score with a 10,104 ft delta
@swhme check out this tailgate topper I whipped together from a single 1/2"x24"x48" sheet from HD, to have another flat surface that doesn't slide around on the tailgate! I was hesitant to cut any reliefs into it yet until I know what stove I'm going to use but that'll be next so it also can't...
