    Rock bouncing off rack/bike? Here's another https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/rear-gate-glass-spontaneously-shattered-r1s.19432/
  2. PPF Center Screen

Highly recommend Abstract Ocean matte glass screen protectors. A bit higher price vs competitors but worth it.
  3. Introducing RMaxx Running Boards & Rock Sliders for Rivian R1T / R1S from Team 1EV

On a positive note, my R1S rb box arrived in great condition thanks to better packaging considering weight and length. Haven't opened to see if anything is missing etc.
  4. Recent R1S builds has only 2 Tie Downs?

I don't disagree with you that pricing is excessive but that's the Rivian tax. Nothing part wise is cheap on these vehicles. I would love to find aftermarket ones for $20-30 if they were available.
  5. R1S Payload Stickers

20 AT, Q large, underbody, compact spare 1441 lbs payload
  6. Recent R1S builds has only 2 Tie Downs?

They are nice and pretty hefty for the size, but yeah $250+ is a bit much. I paid $150 and that hurts already.
  7. Recent R1S builds has only 2 Tie Downs?

I found a set on Ebay (doesn't seem to come up very often).
  8. "Compact spare tires will be available to order in summer of 2023" NOT!

old design new Full size kits for the R1T may have already ship with this version.
  9. "Compact spare tires will be available to order in summer of 2023" NOT!

No clue on pricing, but if you had it on configuration before Rivian removed it, I think you would be able to get it at pre-March price. I also suspect this will require mobile service install (spare tire tie down rod assembly may not be present in already delivered R1S and that part needs to...
  10. Pre-delivery CGM issues - what would you do?

Is it a recent VIN (20K+) or one built months ago?
  11. "Compact spare tires will be available to order in summer of 2023" NOT!

There's been a redesign of the compact spare tire so that's probably the reason for the continued delay in shipping. Old design had a separate puck that you attach to the scissor jack. The newer design integrates this into the the jack which should make it safer and more dummy proof.
  12. Rear ended. Warranty + repair shop nightmares

In the limited time of owning the S, I do notice distance between it and vehicle behind it is closer than on my other EV. Since I can't gently roll to a stop, my braking distance is shorter and the vehicle behind me also has a later reaction time to the high regen braking action. So I have to...
  13. Shipping A/T Wheel/Tire Set?

Generally, shipping wheels with tires, wrap them up in plastic wrap with foam and cardboard to protect the wheel facing part. I would protect both sides and add foam cushioning in the wheel well so the wrap doesn't get punctured and fall apart. Ship each set separately. Pallet will cost you...
  14. Rear ended. Warranty + repair shop nightmares

I have noticed frequent postings of rear end accidents. Curious if high regen braking and possibly late brake light coming on is a factor in these rear end collisions.
  15. Not going to be using the R1S as a roadtrip vehicle again

It doesn't show up in the app until you are an owner.
  16. Recent R1S builds has only 2 Tie Downs?

Are there any aftermarket tie downs that fit these rails? Really prefer 4.
  17. LinerX Floormats (All Three Rows) & Cargomat Liners (R1S/R1T)

My LinerX 2nd row floor mats crease up at the corners where it meets the back seat plastic trim. Have to use some 3M vhb tape to hold it down.
