It sounds like they're going up and getting snapped up so not too bad imo.
I plan on scripting an alert for myself if I ever get invited to the shop to notify me of something that meets my requirements.
That's way better than what GM does (at least for ice vehicles). GM's solution is to contact your dealership. They don't tell you shit and refuse to give any sort of delivery estimates. Even the current rivian experience is far better.
I'm a bit confused... the window in your signature hasn't come yet. Is there reason to think they won't hit it? From what I've seen Rivian has been delivering on the windows for the vehicles that they're actually building (r1t, non-OC, large pack, etc) with many getting in ahead of their window...
So going back through the various update emails Rivian has sent, it's not unusual for them to send them at late hours.

You don't have evidence to back up your assertions so no, it's not obvious. Kyle said the employee relationship was personal and not due to his "status" as a youtuber. We have no reason to believe that to be false.
Chill. No need to crucify him. I think his first video was a bit disingenuous but his clarification today indicates that he got it because of someone he knew "personally" and not from being a youtuber. Perhaps a distinction without a difference but alas.
All CS would tell me was "by the end of the week". I'm sure that's what the comms folks told them and haven't told them anything different. Left out there to figure out what that means just like the rest of us.
I'm not sure which stage of grieving this is but I went back to the Monday email and it just says "This week, we’ll be updating delivery window estimates for some preorder holders." It specifically does not say that they will tell us what that window is -- it just says that they will be updating...
