VINs would be assigned to a truck in the factory in order. Then a truck/VIN assigned to a customer whenever.
The Monroney is interesting. I wonder if they print that after it's assigned to the customer to account for those sorts of changes.
What's weird to me is that with my non-Shop order, I forgot to add the spare back when I changed from 20s to 21s. Guide had to add it after lock. I asked about it delaying my order and he said if I was matched with a truck that didn't have the spare they would send it later. I don't know why the...
The whole intent of the shop is that they are offering up vehicles that are sitting either at a service center or in Normal to folks who may want them.
Fairly certain it's the opposite. There's many reasons why car manufacturers assign VINs sequentially in the build process and there's no...
I've got it in my powershell script. I think I pulled it from the Android app. Shouldn't be hard to translate to Python.
function Get-OrderStatus($graphHeaders, $orderId) {
$query = @"
query delivery(`$orderId: ID!) {
transactionStatus(orderId: `$orderId) {

I'm not seeing it in the web but when I do my own query for the delivery status I see similar. I haven't submitted the funding or insurance though.
{

"transactionStatus": {
"__typename": "TransactionStatus",
"isConsumerFlowComplete": false

Does anyone know if payment and insurance are actually required to be completed before you can schedule delivery? Or does it just open when the vehicle is ready to schedule for delivery? I've got all my stuff done minus those. It doesn't make sense to have the payment/loan stuff done and pay for...
Not really any room on the wall for it. I could make room if I really needed to but it would seem to make more sense just to put it outside, hence this thread. No one has given a super compelling reason as to why it really should be installed inside.
Really good point. Maybe I'll get a canvas cover (like a small grill cover or something) to put over it when it's not in use. I imagine leaving it on when used could be a fire hazard.
Rivian Shop just started and I don't think anyone has taken delivery from that yet. However, prior to the Shop, guides were matching buyers with existing cars.
My friend thought he had the powered tonneau on his order. Realized after he got a guide that it wasn't on there. He hasn't spoken with them yet (they've been OOF since assignment) so not sure if they were planning on making him add it.
No reason they can't do this. I don't know if Carplay feeds charger destination back to the car but cars can feed state of charge to Carplay.
EV routing comes to Apple Maps and CarPlay for Ford Mach-E drivers with iOS 15.4 - 9to5Mac
Thanks for this! Makes me feel better about selling my C7 vette in favor of the Rivian. I "need" a truck to tow my boat and other utilitarian things but I also "need" a fun car. Rivian seems to give me all of that in one. Thankfully I should know in a few weeks :)
