Unfortunately I don't think these will work either, seems their load capacity is 2200 pounds/wheel, which at first glance seems to check out. But then I read that a good rule of thumb is to take 50% of the heaviest axle rating of the vehicle, and _that_ should be the load capacity/wheel. So, the...
ahh, sorry if i just reposted something that originated from you ... yeah I think I'm going to settle on 33" on a set of Raceline Scouts (20x9 +18 offset)...thanks for all the research info!
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=275&aspect=65&diameter=20&wheelwidth=8.5&offset=48&width2=275&aspect2=65&wheel_size=20&wheel_width=8.5&offset2=30
here is a super handy site so you can calculate the exact amount of 'poke' and even visualize it. I had some 20x9 +18 offset wheels put...
Now I'm checking these out: https://www.trailbuiltoffroad.com/buy-wheel-offset/2085ARS300054M72/black-rhino-arsenal-20x85-30?vehicle_type=Truck&year=2022&make=Rivian&model=R1T&drive=AWD&suspension=Air+Suspension
Specs are pretty close to OEMs ... offset is 30mm which seems decent (-18mm from...
Sigh, another (not-so-good) update -- RoadReady wheels support was dead wrong about the load capacity of these wheels...it's not 2250 lbs, they are 800kg/1765ish lbs. I looked hard enough and finally found the information stamped on the wheel. This option is not viable. Back to the drawing board.
Another quick update...wheels arrived and they weigh approximately 36 lbs each, which is 7 lbs lighter than they are listed at on the Road Ready site, sooo yay? I think this puts them at the same weight as the OEM 20" wheels, at least according to this link...
Anyway, appointment this afternoon...
Also, does anyone know how to interpret the Load Index number for the steel wheels I linked earlier? I see Load Index Rating, 275 ... wtf does that translate to? My google-fu is failing me...
More pics would be awesome! Yeah, I was a little concerned about the weight, but since I'm sticking with the Rivian-variant of the Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts and shaving weight off there, I don't think the weight of the steel wheels is a deal breaker.
FWIW, my overall savings should be ~$1800...
Cool, those look like the same specs as the steelies I ordered. What tire do you have? How far does it stick out? Apologies if you posted images and I missed them...thanks in advance!
Edit: just dug through previous posts...appears this is what I should expect in terms of tires sticking out a...
I am also curious if these would clear the calipers...I'm not a wheel expert by any means, but, if the measurements are the same-ish as the Racelines (20x9, 5x139.7, +18mm offset: link), then they should just fit, correct? I am super interested simply because personally I'd rather put money in...
I'm also looking at going the Raceline route via DiscountTire...specifically looking at the Scout: https://racelinewheels.com/products/947-scout?_pos=1&_sid=99bba5b93&_ss=r
Please upload more pics once you decide on a tire! Also, anyone here recommend the cooper discoverer atp 2? They seem to...
