I went to the Chicago Service Center this morning to pick up my R1S, which had some panel alignment issues at delivery. Unfortunately, when I got in the car to drive away, it threw the "Service 12v Battery System Soon" error message, so had to leave it at the service center and head back home...

My R1S is currently at the Chicago Service Center as well, although not for any catastrophic failure like yours. Just a few fit and finish issues from delivery. But my car's been locked for over 2 days...almost as if it's just sitting there not being worked on. Anyway good luck with the repair.
