right, but if they plan to enable land keeping on any roads (not only highway), then they wouldn't have used the current button. (tesla uses button on the left side of steering wheel as multiple purpose button. )
The UI is quite nice. but a bit raw. I am not sure if first timer will know what it means, without tutorial.
now rivian starts to use that right button, does it mean normal road land keeping is not planned in the near future (left right button is the speed adjust for highway assist)?
After 80 mins or so, mine turned to 8%. Now 150 mins since start, it is at 69%.
Way long than than previous update, I am glad I did not start the update at work.
Such statement is really unnecessary. In the opposite I was in PM position for 5 years and knows lots of decisions regarding functions and directions are purely depends on executives strategies not how good software development team is.
happen to me too. 2 issues.
1. from drive to park, the seat does not move to roomy position. (sometimes the seat starts moving when i release seat belt, sometimes the seat moves when opening the door, not sure why the difference. )
2. from park to drive, steel wheel does not return to driving...
I heard the blind spot camera is coming soon. but still not here yet.
Some how i feel like they have made all the new features but choose to roll them out little by little, so the vehicle keeps "improving".
not bad. pretty good looking. other than new look? nothing.
Not sure it is well qualified as 2.0. i guess i will wait for the vehicle update to see.
in android version, now every time i open the app, i am not stuck to see the 2-3 second Rivian logo/loading Ui anymore. which is the best improvement.
i think there maybe some rooms for improvement. i know there are 4 bluetooth sensors in the car (one on each side maybe). something maybe able to be done to adjust how sensitive the unlock mechanism is.
or just let user to choose. far, medium or close.
last time they told me until 5 days before service date, i can add more issues. Seems they changed to 10 days?
2 months is too long. late last month I managed to get a service booking in 3 weeks.
Now mine has been dropped off for service, they told me it will be finished within a week. hope...
In my opinions, sound is not the issue, the vibration is.
I noticed similar noises from Rav4 prime, tesla Y, Polestar2. but i only feel petal vibration in R1S.
I still prefer my Model Y performance if I need to drive alone and fast. it is just more fun to drive compare to R1S. R1s sport mode is good too but for such a big and heavy SUV, it is hard to control compare to "tiny" module 3 or Y.
for comfort, R1S is better than Model Y (better(softer)...
