I saw 5 R1Ts in one 1.5 hr. drive around SLC, UT a while back. I saw 6 Amazon Riv vans driving around today. The only R1Ss I've seen have been at the SC.
I'm seeing 3 different versions of the R2 on Google Images. Which one will it be? From a strictly investor standpoint, I prefer the 3rd version. This general style is hyper popular (Q5, Macan, X3, etc), at least here in Utah. The 2nd photo looks too much like a Chevy Avalanche IMO.
Agreed. As a shareholder, the R2 needs to come to market yesterday. I think the R2 will crush it if it can be in the $50k - $70k range. I'm quite unfamiliar with the EV hatchback offerings out there but, in my mind, the R2 will appeal to the Q5, Macan, X3, etc. crowd as they look to get...
^^^ Well thought out response.
Something for everyone to keep in mind: In the first year of production, Tesla sold 3,000 Model S units. The following year, that number increased to 22,477. While Tesla is far ahead of the pack at the moment, Rivian obviously did better numbers in their 1st...
Holy shitballs Batman!! Totaled for sure. Glad you guys are safe. Someone probably already asked, but was the other guy insured and/or do you have uninsured motorist coverage?
Thanks. There are a lot of charging options in Moab. I don't know if what I can see online can be deemed as reliable. I also haven't been down there anytime in the last 10 years during the crowded months, so I don't know what kind of demand for EV chargers there is. I imagine it's quite high...
Has anyone gone through the process of reprogramming a wristband that they've bought 2nd hand? If so, could you please share what's involved in doing so? Thanks
Just letting people know what's out there. Not recommending what anyone do with their money. Some people might not be aware and I like to share friendly info. Also, I didn't speculate that anyone's going bankrupt - I quoted an article.
Just a friendly heads up for my fellow Riv Forums members. I have moved A LOT of my cast to American Express savings. They are currently paying 3.75% interest (while Chase, Key, etc. continue to have pathetically offensive rates of 0.01% [Chase].
I would argue that American Express is a VERY...
In the spirit of the whole Apple Car Play & Android Auto rants, I really want to get the wristband that my "concierge" originally told me would be available in the shop. It can't be all that expensive for Rivian to order 20,000 of these and sell them to us suckers for a stupid amount of money...
I wouldn't necessarily say "cash buyers will drop of quickly". Sure, there will be some level of contraction, However, especially in areas like Park City (along with MANY other similar areas of the country) where the net worth of individuals is probably in the $20MM - $500MM+ range. The homes...
I can't speak for anywhere else in the country, but several people at the Rivian SC in SLC, UT. recently told me that the vast majority of Rivians being purchased in Utah are in the Park City area, which is the most affluent and highest median HH income county in the state. These are people...
Thumbs up if you've gotten this update. Me?
I'd really like to have it for my trip to Moab & Canyonlands next week. Otherwise, it's gonna be the GoPro suction cupped to the hood - which is still cool.
