  1. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

No, but I couldn't find any documentation that correctly clarifies this behavior. When unclear, I know that all other products override the set limit.
  2. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

I haven't yet found a way in any Ecoflow product to bypass this when supplying 240v and ingressing 120v. I wish there was an option to hard limit the 120v intake, that would solve/simply problems in a snap 😉
  3. Rivian Service and Sales center coming to Frisco, TX?!

    ... Go figure...
  4. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

I have the same toggle in my unit, but as soon as I'm outputting AC, it will override the limit set in the app and go as high as 1800 if it cans
  5. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

It will shutoff. The question is: Can you limit the Delta 3 Ultra Plus AC input to (lets say) 1200w while outputing ~3000w AC at the same time? If so, that's a huge win in terms of efficiency, specially for those with a Generator Port without a battery system installed. I might look into this...
  6. SSD usb-c vs USB

@GUDGRFF https://amzn.to/4u0x0tJ This one has been working perfectly for me for the past couple of years :)
  7. Rivian V2H Technical First Look (Patent)

R2 support a 'simple' V2L... The patent is for a more-complex higher power V2L and we can only hope Rivian supports both R1 and R2...
  8. Rivian V2H Technical First Look (Patent)

Thank you for tagging me :) I'm already trying to play my cards to get my hand on a V2H as soon as possible after Rivian (if?when?) releases such a product. Should be fairly trivial to integrate for those with Generator ports and/or transfer switches. From the patent, it looks like they are...
  9. Tail lights keep blinking

Might be kind of the same as the other time but wasn't widespread this time... Maybe?
  10. Tail lights keep blinking

Cool, then monitor the sleep time during the day today and if it doesn't sleep at all, then I would keep it plugged into an L2 charger. Otherwise the 12V battery will suffer
  11. Tail lights keep blinking

Do you have a Rivian Roamer account? if not, create one (free should work but I would definititely consider the pay subscription and it adds lots of value for the money)and monitor your truck for 24hrs and watch the Activity bar on RivianRoamer's dashboard: You can clearly see the SLEEP/...
  12. NEW - OpenSource EV Seat Back Attachment System for R1S & R1T

Something cool that will soon be featured here :)
  13. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

Nice! You ran closer to the 1500w limit, ballsy :)
  14. NEW - OpenSource EV Seat Back Attachment System for R1S & R1T

Interesting... I was actually looking for a solution to hold something :) I'll give this a look.
  15. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

The beauty of the DC power supply is that the Rivian is always isolated from the house AC Circuit. For what is worth, you could be using a hair dryer in the outlets that the Rivian would treat it the same as the DC power supply. Both my 'big' inverter and the Ecoflow would never try to 'suck...
  16. How to use your Rivian as a Power Bank (safe way)

I'm curious! Did anyone else gave this a try already? Last weekend I actually gave my cousin (who was here visiting) a quick run on how I setup things, took lets than a minute to plug everything out and worked perfectly first try. He was impressed :)
  17. Introducing EV Play "Auto-Mate" for Rivian® -- automate your center-screen functions

This looks great! I remember you asking questions about things to automate in other threads :) Glad to see this became a product! So, in theory, for those with Dual/Dual Performance can turn off the "auto" ride height and swithc to Sport Mode evey time they start a drive, for example? That will...
  18. New Gen 2 R1S Tri-Motor has entered "Vintage Mode" in less than 24 hours

Love the writeup :) Hope you get this one fixed soon, and I'm sure it's just a minor glitch that can be quickly solved by the Service Center
  19. Time-of-Use (TOU) Electricity Rate -- My Stats

I live in Texas where I have Free Nights (really $0.00/kWh from 8pm to 6am) and I've been using this plan since 2017. During daytime is a steep $0.33/kWh so... steep. But we got used to it and my electric bill was always lower than my neighbor's. Now with two EVs (one since 2022 and 2nd one in...
