CCS standard is not the be-all-and-end-all of ev charging, a company can support 500 A if it wants to and create charging station that can support it (like https://www.phoenixcontact.com/assets/downloads_ed/global/web_dwl_promotion/52007586_EN_HQ_E-Mobility_LoRes.pdf).
The fan makes the same noise as the one in my ATV, if I had to guess it's a smaller fan so the noise is more extreme.
The engineer seemed please to have had this opportunity to test it there.
Interesting, it seems the rear suspension has destroyed part of the wheel well protection cover when going at high speed trought rough terrain. Another testament to real world test before production.
I think it's great that they test pre-production vehicules in real world scenarios where actual driver use them, not just engineers. The 12 volt problem might not have been found without it.
We had a discussion there with pictures if you want. (https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/fully-charged-covers-long-way-up-and-rivian-r1t.710/page-2)
I think I found one from the "Building a Test Vehicle" video.
And another from a forbes video (RaMhY2Z_Svs).
Looking at it I think the angle of the reservoir changed a bit (the forbes video seems like old video reels), but I'm not sure.
